College of Fisheries Engineering Sports day 2019 was conducted on the date 14.03.2019. The day started with an inauguration presided by Dean Dr. G. Jeyasekaran. CoFE has 5 teams named Green Devils, Blue Raptors, Red Bulls, Sea Gladiators & Will Fire X1X for showing our unity and team work . Glorious student parades were headed by the respective team leaders. The Olympic torch ignited by the respectable Dean followed by the lighting of Olympic stand by the Sports secretary Mr. A. Suriya. The Olympic flag was hoisted by the Dean of College of Fisheries Engineering. The event began at 7.30 am with track events (100m, 200m and 400m) followed by field events (long jump, High jump, Javelin, Shot put and discus throw) which was over by 5.30 pm. Medals were awarded to the winners and the overall trophy was backed by by Sea gladiators team. The sports day event was over with the valedictory function at 5.00pm. The event was also guided by Dr. K. Rathnakumar Vice president of students association and Dr. M. Sivakumar, the sports adviser.
