College of Fisheries Engineering, Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University, Nagapattinam celebrated hostel day 2019 on 20.03.2019 in Hostel premises. Prof. G. Jeyasekaran, Dean i/c and Chairman of Hostel Amenities Committee, CoFE, Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University, Nagapattinam has given the presidential address. Dr. K. Rathnakumar, Vice President of the Students’ Association has given the felicitation address. Ms. S. B. Siva Krishna, Girls Hostel Secretary has read the annual report of hostels (Boys and Girls). Following this, cultural event was started in which students involved and made the occasion more memorable. Events like Dancing, Singing and fun games for the students have been successfully conducted. The Dean has distributed prizes for the competitions like Wrestling, Eat Mania, Body Building, Chess, Carrom for boys and Hair Dressing, Paper Dressing, Rangoli, Mehandi, Cooking without Fire for girls conducted in the morning session. The welcome speech was addressed by Er. C. Mercy Amrita, Deputy Warden (Girls Hostel). The vote of thanks was given by Dr. M. Ramar, Deputy Warden (Boys hostel). At last, this function ends up with feast.
