The Intercollegiate Cultural and Quiz competition “CoFIESTA 2019” was conducted on 11.04.2019. This is a milestone in the history of College of Fisheries Engineering, Nagapattinam which will be conducted every year to integrate all Science and engineering Students for a better relation. A total of 6 Colleges participated in this event, FC&RI Tuticorin, FC&RI Ponneri, FC&RI Thalaignayiru, E.G.S Pillay Arts and Science College, Nagapattinam, E.G.S Pillay Engineering College, Nagapattinam, A.D.M College for women Nagapattinam.
Dr.S.Felix, Vice Chancellor of TNJFU addressed the students and distributed the certificates and prizes to the winners in the valedictory function.
Overall trophies were introduced to the participants by Dr.K.Rathnakumar, Dean i/c and President of Students Association and Er.R.Regupathi, Vice President of Students Association. Many offstage events were conducted in the college premises such as Rangoli, Pot painting, Monochromatic drawing, Cooking without fire, Wealth from waste, Paper dressing and Photography and the onstage events like solo dance (classical), Solo singing, Solo dance (western), Mono act, Adaptive dance, Mime and Group dance.
Intercollegiate quiz competition was conducted on stage and four colleges participated in this quiz competition, FC&RI Thoothukudi, FC&RI Ponneri, FC&RI Thalaignayeru and ADM College for Women, Nagapattinam. Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi secured the first prize for both the cultural and quiz competition and won the ever rolling trophies of “CoFIESTA” and the runner’s trophy for cultural competition was won by Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thalaignayeru.
நாகை மீன்வளப் பொறியியல் கல்லூரியில் "CoFIESTA 2019" கலை நிகழ்ச்சி மற்றும் வினாடி வினா போட்டி நடைபெற்றது. இதில் தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி, பொன்னேரி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி, தலைஞாயிறு மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் நாகை மாவட்டத்தைச் சேர்ந்த E.G.S பொறியியல் கல்லூரி, E.G.S கலை க்கல்லூரி, A.D.M பெண்கள் கல்லூரி ஆகிய கல்லூரிகள் கலந்துகொண்டு போட்டியிட்டனர்.
கழிவுப் பொருள்களை கலை ப்பொருள்களாக மாற்றுதல், தீ இல்லாத சமையல், குழுநடனம், தனிநடனம், ரங்கோலி உள்பட பல்வேறு போட்டிகளும் வினாடி வினா போட்டியும் நடத்தப்பட்டன.
இந்தப் போட்டிகளில் அதிக புள்ளிகள் பெற்று வெற்றி பெற்ற தூத்துகுடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையம் ஒட்டுமொத்த போட்டிகளுக்கான சுழற்கோப்பையை வென்றது. போட்டிகளுக்கான பரிசளிப்பு விழா 11.04.2019 (வியாழக்கிழமை) மாலை நடைபெற்றது. மீன்வளப் பல்கலைகழகத்தின் துணைவேந்தர் முனைவர்.சுக.பெலிக்ஸ் சிறப்பு அழைப்பாளராகப் பங்கேற்று போட்டிகளில் வெற்றி பெற்றவர்களுக்கு பரிசுகளை வழங்கிப் பாராட்டினார்.
மீன்வளப் பொறியியல் கல்லூரியின் முதல்வர் (பொறுப்பு) கு.ரத்னகுமார், மாணவர் சங்கத்தின் துணைத் தலைவர் ரெ.ரெகுபதி மற்றும் பேராசிரியர்கள், மாணவர்கள் கலந்துகொண்டனர்.
