Vigilance Awareness Week-2019 was observed by the College of Fisheries Engineering College of Energy and Environmental Engineering jointly on 30th October, 2019 on the theme “Integrity-A way of life”. Dr. R. Rajendran, Dean, College of Fisheries Engineering (CoFE) and Dr. N. Manimehalai, Associate Professor & Officer i/c, College of Energy and Environmental Engineering (CEEE) presided the event. In their speech, Corruption in daily life is linked to human greediness, an overdrive to achieve and outdo one another going beyond his means. This is Human Psychology which is so ingrained in human mind that complete eradication is not an easy job. There is no ready-made answer for it nor there any out of the box solution. Still we cannot sit back and let corruption take centre stage in our life both public and private and allow it to engulf and ultimately corrode our very basic ethos of Human existence. In the presence Dean of CoFE and Officer i/c of CEEE, Professors, Students of CoFE and CEEE and office workers took the Vigilance Awareness Week-2019 Pledge on the theme “Integrity-A way of life”.

நாகப்பட்டினம், தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகம், மீன்வளப் பொறியியல் வளாகத்தில், லஞ்ச ஒழிப்பு விழிப்புணர்வு -2019 “நேர்மை-ஒரு வாழ்க்கை முறை” என்ற தலைப்பில் அனுசரிக்கப்பட்டது. இக்கல்லூரி வளாகத்தில் நடைபெற்ற இந்நிகழ்ச்சிக்கு மீன்வள பொறியியல் கல்லூரி முதல்வர் முனைவர் ஆர்.ராஜேந்திரன் மற்றும் எரிசக்தி மற்றும் சுற்றுச்சூழல் பொறியியல் கல்லூரி இணை பேராசிரியர் மற்றும் முதல்வர் (பொறுப்பு) முனைவர் நா. மணிமேகலை ஆகியோர் தலைமை தாங்கினர். அவர்கள் தங்கள் உரையில், நமது அன்றாட வாழ்க்கையில் ஊழல் என்பது மனித பேராசையுடன் இணைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது, முழுமையான லஞ்ச ஒழிப்பு என்பது எளிதான வேலை அல்ல. அதற்கு எந்த ஆயத்த பதிலும் தீர்வும் எதுவும் இல்லை. ஊழல் நம் வாழ்க்கையில் பொது மற்றும் தனியார் இரண்டையும் மையமாகக் கொண்டு செல்ல அனுமதிக்க முடியாது, மேலும் அது மனித இருப்பு பற்றிய நமது அடிப்படை நெறிமுறைகளை மூழ்கடித்து இறுதியில் அழிக்கின்றது. முதல்வர்கள் முன்னிலையில், பேராசிரியர்கள், மீன்வள பொறியியல் கல்லூரி மற்றும் எரிசக்தி மற்றும் சுற்றுச்சூழல் பொறியியல் கல்லூரி மாணவர்கள் மற்றும் அலுவலக ஊழியர்கள் லஞ்ச ஒழிப்பு விழிப்புணர்வு உறுதிமொழியை “நேர்மை-ஒரு வாழ்க்கை முறை” என்ற தலைப்பில் எடுத்துக்கொண்டனர்
