Inauguration of Red Ribbon Club at College of Fisheries Engineering, Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University, Nagapattinam
A red Ribbon Club (RRC) has been inaugurated at College of Fisheries Engineering, Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University, Nagapattinam on 08.02.2021 The programme started with invocation song sung by all the student volunteers of CoFE. Dr. M. Ramar, Assistant Professor/Physics of CoFE has given welcome address. Dr. R. Rajendran, Dean (i/c) of the College presided over the event and he elaborated in terms of HIV/AIDS and Blood donation. Further, he also contended that the RRC activities of the CoFE are appreciable and notable on social conscious. He has also requested that RRC co-ordinator may also continue to serve the students for developing their co-curricular activities through various RRC programmes guided by the district administration of Tamil Nadu AIDS Control Board.
The Consultant-Integrated Counseling and Testing Centre (ICTC), Nagapattinam district Government medical hospital Mr. N. Senthilkumar and the Consultant-Integrated Counseling and Testing Centre (ICTC), Nagore Government hospital Mr. T. Rajesh Kannan has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest of the function. The chief guest has inspired everyone by his humorous and sensational speech and handled the embarrassing situation while delivering the issues like Sexual Transferable Diseases (STD), Origin of HIV virus, the ways and means to control the spreading rate of HIV infection among the rural mass. Since most of the spectators are in the adolescent groups, the methods of creating awareness about HIV virus and the consequences of the diseases have been explained scientifically. The role of student RRC volunteers in educating the illiterate people living in the neighbouring villages was also enumerated in detail. The certificates are distributed for RRC competitions to the winners.
The vote of thanks was given by Dr. M. Kamalakannan, Assistant Professor/Mathematics, Member Advisor-RRC and the function was graced with the presence of faculty members of all departments and Non-Teaching staff members and students of CoFE. Nearly 70 students from both boys and girls have participated in the programme. The RRC inauguration programme has been arranged by the RRC co-ordinator Dr.M. Ramar, Assistant Professor/Physics and Member Advisor-RRC Dr. M. Kamalakannan, Assistant Professor/Mathematics, CoFE.

செஞ்சுருள் சங்கம் தொடக்க விழா நாகப்பட்டினம் தமிழ் நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வள பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் உறுப்புக் கல்லூரியான மீன்வளப் பொறியியல் கல்லூரியில் 08.02.2021 (திங்கள் கிழமை) அன்று கொண்டாடப்பட்டது. இந்நிகழ்ச்சியானது தமிழ்த்தாய் வாழ்த்துடன் இனிதே ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்டது. பிறகு, முனைவர் மா இராமர், உதவி பேராசிரியர் / இயற்பியல் அவர்கள் வரவேற்பு உரையை வழங்கினார். முனைவர் இரா. இராஜேந்திரன், முதல்வர் (பொறுப்பு) இந்நிகழ்ச்சிக்கு தலைமை உரை வழங்கினார். மேலும், அவர் தனது உரையில் எச்.ஐ.வி / எய்ட்ஸ் மற்றும் இரத்த தானம் குறித்து விரிவாகக் கூறினார். மேலும், இக்கல்லூரியின் செஞ்சுருள் சங்க நடவடிக்கைகள் பாராட்டத்தக்கவை மற்றும் சமூக உணர்வுடன் குறிப்பிடத்தக்கவை என்றும் அவர் எடுத்துரைத்தார். தமிழ்நாடு எய்ட்ஸ் கட்டுப்பாட்டு வாரியத்தின் மாவட்ட நிர்வாகத்தால் வழிநடத்தப்படும் பல்வேறு செஞ்சுருள் சங்க திட்டங்கள் மூலம் செஞ்சுருள் சங்க ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் மாணவர்களுக்கு அவர்களின் பாடத்திட்ட நடவடிக்கைகளை மேம்படுத்துவதற்காக தொடர்ந்து சேவை செய்யுமாறு அறிவுறுத்தினார்.
இவ்விழாவின் சிறப்பு விருந்தினர்களான திரு. என். செந்தில்குமார், ஆலோசகர்-ஒருங்கிணைந்த ஆற்றுப்படுத்துதல் மற்றும் பரிசோதனை மையம், நாகப்பட்டினம் மாவட்ட அரசு மருத்துவமனை மற்றும் திரு. டி. ராஜேஷ் கண்ணன், ஆலோசகர்-ஒருங்கிணைந்த ஆற்றுப்படுத்துதல் மற்றும் பரிசோதனை மையம், நாகூர் அரசு மருத்துவமனை ஆகியோர் சிறப்புரை வழங்கினர். மேலும் அவர்களது, சிறப்புரையில் பாலியல் பரிமாற்ற நோய்கள், எச்.ஐ.வி வைரஸின் தோற்றம், கிராமப்புற மக்களிடையே எச்.ஐ.வி தொற்று பரவுவதை கட்டுப்படுத்துவதற்கான வழிகள் மற்றும் வழிமுறைகள் விரிவாக எடுத்துரைத்தார். பார்வையாளர்களில் பெரும்பாலோர் இளம் பருவத்தில் இருப்பதால், எச்.ஐ.வி வைரஸ் குறித்த விழிப்புணர்வை உருவாக்கும் முறைகள் மற்றும் நோய்களின் விளைவுகள் பற்றி அறிவியல் பூர்வமாக விளக்கினார். கிராமங்களில் வாழும் கல்வியறிவற்ற மக்களுக்கு கல்வி கற்பதில் மாணவர் செஞ்சுருள் சங்க தன்னார்வலர்களின் பங்கும் விரிவாகக் குறிப்பிட்டார். செஞ்சுருள் சங்கம் சார்பாக நடைபெற்ற போட்டியில் வெற்றி பெற்ற மாணவர்களுக்கு சான்றிதழ் வழங்கப்பட்டது.
இறுதியாக, முனைவர் மே கமலகண்ணன்உதவி பேராசிரியர் / கணிதம், உறுப்பினர் ஆலோசகர்-செஞ்சுருள் சங்கம் அவர்கள் இவ்விழாவில் கலந்துகொண்ட அனைத்து துறை ஆசிரியர்கள், அலுவலக ஊழியர்கள் மற்றும் மாணவர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் நன்றி தெரிவித்தார். இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் 70க்கும் மேற்பட்ட மாணவர்கள் பங்கேற்றனர். செஞ்சுருள் சங்கம் தொடக்க விழாவினை ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் முனைவர் மா. இராமர், உதவி பேராசிரியர் / இயற்பியல் மற்றும் உறுப்பினர் ஆலோசகர்-முனைவர் மே.கமலகண்ணன், உதவி பேராசிரியர் / கணிதம், ஆகியோர் ஏற்பாடு செய்தனர்.
