Three Days skill development Programme Production of value added fish products and its preservation technologies was conducted for the students of B.Voc (Marine Food Processing And Preservation Technology) that was sponsored by ADM College for women, Nagapattinam during 27 th October to 29 th October 2021 in College of Fisheries Engineering, TNJFU, Nagapattinam. Dr. N. Manimehalai, Professor & Head, Dean (Additional incharge), College of Fisheries Engineering, inaugurated the skill development training program and emphasizes the scope of fish processing to the students. She also handled the sessions on food analytical techniques and microbiological methods. were given by Dr. P. Karthickumar, Assistant Professor and Training Coordinator explained about business opportunities in value added fish products and demonstrated on production of ready to eat value added fish products. Students were also exposed to the various fish processing machinery and packaging techniques that present in the college of Fisheries Engineering, Nagapattinam.
