World Fisheries Day was conducted on 20th November 2021 at seminar hall of College of Fisheries Engineering, Nagapattinam. The program was started with an invocation and lightening the traditional lamp. Mr.S.Evon Umesh, Technical Club Secretary of Student’s Association welcomed the gathering. Dr.N.Manimehalai, Dean and Ex-Officio President of Student’s Association gave the presidential address and emphasized the importance of World Fisheries Day in her speech. In special address from Dr.N.Inayathullah Neyasudeen, Aquaculture Consultant, National and International Projects Development & NFDB Consultant under PMSYY, SAP member elaborated “ the recent technologies of aquaculture in fisheries sector “. Along with that, cultural events like solo singing and dance were performed by the students . To mark this day, various literary competitions viz. essay writing, speech, drawing and poster presentation for students were conducted. The winners were issued with a certificate. Finally, Tamil Peravai Club Secretary Ms.M.Ramya concluded the event with the vote of thanks.
உலக மீன்வள தினம் நவம்பர் 20, 2021 அன்று நாகப்பட்டினத்தில் உள்ள மீன்வள பொறியியல் கல்லூரியின் கருத்தரங்கில் நடைபெற்றது. தீபம் ஏற்றி நிகழ்ச்சி தொடங்கப்பட்டது.. மாணவப் பேரவையின் டெக்னிக்கல் கிளப் செயலாளர் திரு.S..இவான் உமேஷ் வரவேற்றார். மாணவப் பேரவையின் தலைவர் மற்றும் கல்லூரியின் முதல்வர் டாக்டர்.N.மணிமேகலை தலைமையுரை ஆற்றி, உலக மீன்வள தினத்தின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை தனது உரையில் வலியுறுத்தினார். PMSYY இன் கீழ் தேசிய மற்றும் சர்வதேச திட்ட மேம்பாடு & NFDB ஆலோசகர், மீன்வளர்ப்பு ஆலோசகர், SAP உறுப்பினர், டாக்டர்..N.இனாயத்துல்லா நேயாசுதீன் அவர்களின் சிறப்பு உரையில், “மீன்வளத்துறையில் மீன்வளர்ப்புக்கான சமீபத்திய தொழில்நுட்பங்களை” விரிவாக விளக்கினார்.. அத்துடன், மாணவர்களுக்கான கலை நிகழ்ச்சிகள் இடம்பெற்றன.. இந்நாளை முன்னிட்டு மாணவர்களுக்கு பல்வேறு இலக்கியப் போட்டிகள் கட்டுரை எழுதுதல், ஓவியம் வரைதல் மற்றும் போஸ்டர் ப்ரஷன்டேஷன் ஆகியவை நடத்தப்பட்டன. வெற்றி பெற்றவர்களுக்கு சான்றிதழ் வழங்கப்பட்டது. இறுதியாக தமிழ்ப் பேரவை கழகச் செயலாளர் செல்வி M..ரம்யா நன்றியுரையுடன் நிகழ்ச்சியை நிறைவு செய்தார்.
