The College of Fisheries Engineering, Tamil Nadu Dr.J.Jayalalithaa Fisheries University, Nagapattinam observed “Vigilance Awareness Week- 2021” on the theme of “75 th Indian Independence Anniversary and Independent India @ 75 - Self-reliance with Integrity” at seminar hall of College premises on 29.10.2021. A warm welcome address was given by Ms.S.Elsiya, Final year B.Tech (Fisheries Engineering). Dr.N.Manimehalai, Dean i/c of CoFE preside the event. In her speech, she listed out the issues pertaining to corruption and highlighted the power and responsibilities of young people to prevent corruption.
The speech on “Vigilance Awareness Week” was delivered by B.Praveena and K.Gunal of 3 rd year B.Tech (Fisheries Engineering), M.Jose Sherin of 1 st year B.Tech (Fisheries Engineering), M.Jeevadharshini of 1 st year B.Tech (Energy and Environmental Engineering). On this day various competitions such as drawing, essay writing, slogan writing, and elocution were conducted and the certificates were distributed to the winners. Finally Mr.S.K.Chrispin Binesh, NSS & RRC Secretary i/c proposed the vote of thanks and concluded the event.
