The College of Fisheries Engineering, Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University,
Nagapattinam, celebrated the “National Science Day" on 20.02.2022. The function start
up with Tamilthaai vazhtthu. Welcome address was delivered by Mr.S.Evon Umesh,
Technical Club Secretary . Dr.N.Manimehalai, Dean(i/c), CoFE gave the presidential
address. In her presidential address, she insist that science and engineering are the two
sides of the coin for the development of new technologies for the mankind. After that,
Special address for the national science day was delivered by Technical club secretary
Mr.S.Evon Umesh . In his addresses the funding assistance provided for the undergraduate
students to pursue the research work. Along with that, poster presentation was done by
the students. On that day, elocution, essay writing, poetry ,video contest and poster
presentation competitions were conducted and certificates were distributed to them. The
Vote of thanks was given by Students’ editor Miss.S.Elsiya. At last function was end up with
national anthem.
