College of Fisheries Engineering, Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University, Nagapattinam was celebrated Engineers’ day on 15 th September 2018 at college premises. Dr. S. Balasubramanian, Dean and President of Students Association, College of Fisheries Engineering gave the presidential address. In his speech motivated students and Faculty members to provide a good service for the society through development and technology. In addition, the students needs apply the science into the optimum conversion of natural resources to the benefit of man. Dr. K. Rathnakumar, Professor and Head, Department of Fish Process Engineering and Vice President of Students Association delivered the felicitation address on this occasion. Further, the winners received their certificates from Dean for the active participation in literary competitions such as, elocution; essay writing, poster presentation. Mr. M. Gowthaman, member, Literary Club, Students’ Association welcomed the gathering and Mr. R.M. Devasennan, member, students club proposed vote of thanks. The students of College of Fisheries Engineering have participated in this occasion. Dr. M. Kamalakannan, Assistant Professor, Department of Basic Sciences, coordinated the overall programme.
