NSS unit of Dr. MGR. FCRI, Ponneri conducted Swachh Bharat – Campus cleanliness programme

Dr.MGR FC & RI, Ponneri celebrated Gandhi Jayanti (152 nd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi) and 75 th Anniversary of Independence, by taking part in Swachh Bharat Mission. NSS unit of the institute under the guidance of Dr. B. Ahilan, Dean i/c of the institute conducted the campus cleaning programme on 04.10.2021.The cleaning programme concentrated more in collection of plastic waste present in the campus and also ensured the removal of weed plants in the campus and play grounds. The programme began sharply at 3 PM and lasted until the removal of targeted waste in the campus. The girl’s students targeted the plastic waste in and around campuses where as boys volunteers focused on removal of weed plants present in grounds and campuses by using weed cutters and other gardening tools. Guidance was given to the student to follow-up the COVID – 19 Protocols as well as safety measures during the cleaning drive. Mr.R.Velmurugan NSS programme officer and Asst. Professor, DFT&FE coordinated all the arrangements for the event.

பொன்னேரி, டாக்டர். எம்.ஜி.ஆர். மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தில் சுவட்ச் பாரத் - தூய்மைத் திட்டம் நிகழ்வாக கல்லூரி வளாகம் தூய்மை படுத்துதல் முகாம் நடைபெற்றது.

டாக்டர் எம்.ஜி.ஆர். மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தில் காந்தி ஜெயந்தி (மகாத்மா காந்தியின் 152 வது பிறந்தநாள்) மற்றும் இந்திய சுதந்தரத்தின் 75 வது ஆண்டு நிறைவு விழா முன்னிட்டு ஸ்வச் பாரத் தூய்மை திட்ட முகாம் கொண்டாப்பட்டது. முனைவர். ப. அகிலன், முதல்வர், பொறுப்பு அவர்களின் வழிக்காட்டுதலின் படி கல்லூரி வளாகத்தில் தூய்மை பணி திட்டம் 04.10.2021 அன்று வளாகத்தை சுத்தம் செய்யும் நிகழ்ச்சி நடத்தப்பட்டது. இந்நிகழ்வில் வளாகத்தில் இருக்கும் நெகிழிக் கழிவுகளை சேகரிப்பதில் அதிக கவனம் செலுத்தப்பட்டது. கல்லூரி வளாகம் மற்றும் விளையாட்டு மைதானங்களில் உள்ள களை செடிகள் மற்றும் புதர்களை அகற்றும் பணி நாட்டு நலப்பணி திட்ட தன்னார்வ மாணவர்களால் நடைபெற்றது. நிகழ்ச்சி பிற்பகல் 3 மணியளவில் தொடங்கி வளாகத்தில் நெகிழிக் கழிவுகள், குப்பைகளை முற்றிலும் அகற்றும் வரை நீடித்தது. மாணவியர்கள் வளாகம் மற்றும் அதைச் சுற்றியுள்ள நெகிழிக் கழிவுகளை நீக்குவதை இலக்காகக் கொண்டு செயல்பட்டனர். அதே போல மாணவ தன்னார்வலகள் புல் வெட்டும் இயந்திரம், மண்வெட்டி மற்றும் பிற கருவிகளைப் பயன்படுத்தி விளையாட்டு மைதானங்கள் மற்றும் வளாகத்தில் உள்ள கலைச் செடிகளை சுத்தம் செய்வதில் ஈடுபட்டனர். கொரோனா வைரஸ் தடப்பு வழிகாட்டு விதிமுறைகளை பின்பற்றவும், தூய்மை முகாமின் போது பாதுகாப்பாக பணியாற்றவது குறித்தும் மாணவ தன்னார்வளர்க்கு வழிகாட்டுதல் வழங்கப்பட்டது. திரு. ரா. வேல்முருகன், நாட்டு நலப்பணி திட்ட அலுவலர் மற்றும் உதவி பேராசிரியர் அவர்கள் நிகழ்வை ஒருங்கிணைத்து நடத்தினர்.
