Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation programme

The Students Association and NSS unit of Dr. M.G.R Fisheries College and Research Institute, Ponneri have organized the “Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation programme – (SVEEP)” on 22.12.2021 at Kolathumedu fishing Village, Pazhaverkadu under the guidance of Dean i/c, Dr .B. Ahilan. Student’s rally was inaugurated by Mr.P. Selvam, Revenue Divisional officer, Ponneri in the presence of Mr.K.Velan, Assistant Director of Fisheries, Ponneri. The main theme of the rally is to create awareness about the importance of vote and 100 % voting by our citizens. Third year B.F.Sc students of Dr.MGR FCRI, Ponneri with all the COVID-19 precautions [wearing mask and using sanitizer] actively participated in the rally to impart the awareness to the general public about responsibilities of the Indian Citizens and Government officials about the voting. The awareness rally started from the village’s Community hall and ended by covering the whole village of Kolathumedu. Apart from the rally, the students enacted a drama about value of voting in the community hall wherein the lot of village people witnessed the event. Mr. R. Velmurugan, NSS Programme officer coordinated the entire programme.

பொன்னேரி டாக்டர். எம்.ஜி.ஆர். மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலைய- மாணவர் மன்றம் மற்றும் நாட்டு நலப்பணித்திட்ட குழுவினர் மூலம் வாக்காளர்விழிப்புணர்வு பேரணி நடைபெற்றது.

டாக்டர். எம்.ஜி.ஆர். மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலைய மாணவர் மன்றம் மற்றும் நாட்டு நலப்பணித் திட்ட குழுவினரால் 22.12.2021 அன்று கொளத்துமேடு மீனவ கிராமத்தில் விழிப்புணர்வு பேரணி நடைபெற்றது. இவ்விழிப்புணர்வு பேரணியை திரு.ப.செல்வம், பொன்னேரி வருவாய் கோட்டாச்சியர் அவர்கள் மீன்வளத்துறை உதவிஇயக்குனர் திரு.க.வேலன் அவர்கள் முன்னிலையில் துவக்கிவைத்தர். இந்நிகழ்வில் நாட்டு நலப்பணிதிட்ட தன்னார்வ மாணவர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டு வாக்காளர் தின விழிப்புணர்வு தொடர்பான கருத்துகள் கொண்ட பதாகைகளை ஏந்தி பேரணியில் கலந்து கொண்டனர். பேரணியானது காலை 10.00 மணியளவில் கொளத்துமேடு சமுதாய கூடத்திலிருந்து தொடங்கி, பொதுமக்கள் அதிகம் கூடும் பகுதிகள் சென்று சுமார் 11.00 மணியளவில் மீண்டும் கொளத்துமேடு சமுதாயகூடம் வரை நடைபெற்றது. அரசின் கொரோனா வைரஸ் தடுப்பு வழிகாட்டு விதிமுறைகளை பின்பற்றி விழிப்புணர்வு பேரணி நடைப்பெற்றது. பேரணியோடு மட்டுமல்லாமல் சமுதாயகூடத்தில் மக்களிடையே நாடகம் முலம் பிராச்சார விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்தினர். திரு.ரா.வேல்முருகன், நாட்டு நலப்பணி திட்ட அலுவலர் மற்றும் உதவிபேராசிரியர் அவர்கள்நிகழ்வை ஒருங்கிணைத்தார்.
