Sapling plantation programme and 75 th anniversary celebration of Indian independence conducted PRFF, Pulicat

The NSS unit of Dr. M.G.R. Fisheries College and Research Institute (FCRI), Ponneri and Nethaji Tree Bank, Ponneri jointly organised tree sapling plantation programme and celebrated the 75 th anniversary of Indian independence on 23.02.2022 at Pulicat Research Farm Facility (PRFF, Pulicat), an off campus facility of Dr. M.G.R FCRI, Ponneri. Dr. B. Ahilan, Dean i/c of Dr. MGR FCRI, Ponneri inaugurated the programme by planting a tree sapling. Representative from Nethaji Tree Bank, Ponneri and 1 st B.F.Sc student NSS volunteers actively planted about 30 saplings in the campus. Tree saplings and fence were sponsored by Nethaji Tree Bank, Ponneri. Mr. R. Velmurugan, NSS programme officer and Dr. Ezhilarasi, Asst. Professor, coordinated all the arrangements for the event.

பொன்னேரி டாக்டர் எம்.ஜி.ஆர் மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின் வெளிவளாகமான பழவேற்காடு பண்ணை ஆராய்ச்சி மையத்தில், 23,02,2022 அன்று கல்லூரியின் நாட்டு நலப்பணி திட்ட குழுவினரால் மரம் நடும் நிகழ்ச்சி மற்றும் 75 வது இந்திய சுதந்திர ஆண்டு விழா கொண்டாடப்பட்டது மரம் நடுவதற்க்கு தேவையான மரக்கன்றுகள் மற்றும் இரும்பினாலான பாதுகாப்பு கூடுகள் ஆகியவை பொன்னேரி நேதாஜி மரவங்கி, தொண்டு நிறுவனத்தால் இலவசமாக வழங்கப்பட்டது. கல்லூரியின் முதல்வர் (பொறுப்பு) ப. அகிலன் அவர்கள் முதல் மரக்கன்றை நட்டு முகாமை துவக்கி வைத்தார். முகாமில் நாட்டு நலப்பணி திட்ட தன்னார்வ முதலாம் ஆண்டு மாணவர்கள் மற்றும் திரு, ஸ்ரீதர்பாபு (நேதாஜி மரவங்கி பொன்னேரி ) ஆகியோரின் பங்களிப்புடன் சுமார் 30 மரக்கன்றுகள் நடப்பட்டது, திரு, ரா, வேல்முருகன், நாட்டு நலப்பணி திட்ட அலுவலர் மற்றும் முனைவர், எழிலரசி, உதவி பேராசிரியர் ஆகியோர் முகாமை ஒருங்கிணைத்து நடத்தினர்.
