WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATION AT Dr. MGR, FC & RI, PONNERI.

The Students Association of Dr.M.G.R. Fisheries College and Research Institute, Ponneri
organized the International Women's day celebration based on the theme of 2022
"Gender equality today for the sustainable tomorrow" on 08/03/2022.
The program commenced with the Welcome address and on the theme by Dr. Cheryl
Antony, Vice-President of Students' association. The Presidential address was delivered
by Dr. B. Ahilan, Dean and President of Students' association. The chief guest of the
event was Tmt. G. Bhuvana Bayi, Educational consultant Learning Time - Chennai.
She delivered the Chief guest address and shared in depth on the theme for the
Women's day 2022 (Gender equality today for the sustainable tomorrow). Various
events like fruit carving, fun games, elocution, culturals and the debate on the topic
“Whether economic independence is practical for women or not?”, was conducted and
judged by Mrs. Nethra Devi, Accountant , Deans office, Dr. M.G.R. Fisheries college and
research institute, Ponneri. At the end, prizes and certificates were distributed to the
winners for the respective events by the Chief Guest and Dean.The event concluded
with the vote of thanks given by Mr. P.Vignesh, Literary Association Secretary, Students'
Association and the event was conducted by the final year B.F.Sc students.

“தேசிய மகளிர் தின விழா” - டாக்டர். எம். ஜி. ஆர். மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையம்,

டாக்டர். எம். ஜி. ஆர் மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தில் மாணவர்களால் “தேசிய மகளிர் தின விழா - மார்ச் 8” கொண்டாடப்பட்டது. இயத 2022 ஆம் ஆண்டில் “எதிர்காலத்தில நிலையான பெண் சமத்துவம்” என்ற கருப்பொருளை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்டு தேசிய மகளிர் தின விழா ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டது . இவ்விழாவை வரவேற்பு உரையுடன் மாணவர் சங்கத்தின் துணைத் தலைவர் முனைவர். செரில் ஆண்டனி தொடங்கினார். இதனைத் தொடர்யது கல்லூரி முதல்வர் மற்றும் மாணவர் சங்கத்தின் தலைவர் முனைவர் ப. அகிலன் சிறப்புரையை எடுத்துரைத்தார். இயநிகழ்வில் சிறப்பு விருயதினராக திருமதி. ஜி. புவனாபாய், கல்வி ஆலோசகர், சென்னை, பங்கேற்றார். அதைத் தொடர்யது அவர் “தேசிய மகளிர் தின விழா 2022” கருப்பொருளைப் பற்றி ஆழமான கருத்தை பகிர்யது கொண்டார் (எதிர்காலத்தில் நிலையான பெண் சமத்துவம்). இவ்விழாவின் மேடையில் “பொருளாதார சுதயதிரம் பெண்களுக்கு நடைமுறைச் சாத்தியமா? இல்லையா?” என்ற தலைப்பில் விவாதப் போட்டி நடத்தப்பட்டது, இப்போட்டிற்கு நடுவராக திருமதி. நேத்ரா தேவி, அலுவலக கணக்காளர், முதல்வர் அலுவலகம், டாக்டர். எம்.ஜி. ஆர் மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி, பொன்னேரி தலைமை தாங்கினார். இதனைத் தொடர்யது பல்வேறு போட்டிகளான பழம் செதுக்குதல், கேளிக்கை விளையாட்டுகள், சொற்பொழிவு மற்றும் நடன நிகழ்ச்சிகள் நடைபெற்றது. இவ்விழாவின் முடிவில், போட்டியில் வெற்றி பெற்றவர்களுக்கு பரிசுகள் மற்றும் சான்றிதழ்களை கல்லூரி முதல்வர் மற்றும் சிறப்பு விருயதினரால் வழங்கப்பட்டது. இவ்விழாவானது நான்காம் ஆண்டு இளங்கலை பயிலும் ப.விக்னேஷ் மாணவர் சங்க இலக்கிய கழக செயலாளர் நன்றியுரையுடன் நிகழ்வு நிறைவு பெற்றது.
