Organized “Pot Painting” as Part of Voter Awareness

The NSS unit of Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi, a constituent college of Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University organized “Pot Painting” as part of a Voter awareness program on its Academic Block on 26.03.2019. Twenty students of this college were actively participated and portrayed different images on the pot with the theme “VOTE”

The programme was inaugurated by Dr. P. Velayutham, Dean i/c., Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi. In his presidential address, he stressed the importance of casting vote and also highlighted that the students and staffs to cast their vote without fail. Dr.K.Veerabhadran, Vice President Students Association, Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi also encouraged the students to cast their vote.

Mr.T.Ravikumar, Assistant Professor and NSS Programme Officer, Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi coordinated the entire camp. Mr.P.Siva Ganesh, Students Club Secretary proposed the vote of thanks.

தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தில் வாக்களிப்பு விழிப்புணர்வு நிகழ்ச்சியின் ஒரு பகுதியாக “பானை ஓவியத்தை” ஒழுங்கமைத்தது

தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ.ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் ஓர் அங்கமான தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின் நாட்டு நலப்பணித்திட்டத்தின் கீழ் வாக்காளர் விழிப்புணர்வு நிகழ்ச்சியின் ஒரு பகுதியாக “பானையில் ஓவியம் வரைதல்” நிகழ்ச்சி 26.03.2019 அன்று நடைபெற்றது. இக்கல்லூரியின் 20 மாணவ-மாணவிகள் இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் மிகவும் ஆர்வமாக கலந்துகொண்டு பல்வேறு ஓவியங்களை பானையில் வரைந்தனர் இந்நிகழ்ச்சியானது “வாக்கு” என்ற கருத்தை மையமாகக் கொண்டு நடத்தப்பட்டது. இந்நிகழ்ச்சியை தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின் முதல்வர் (பொ). முனைவர் ப. வேலாயுதம் அவர்கள் துவக்கி வைத்து வாக்களிப்பின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை மாணவ மாணவிகள் மத்தியில் எடுத்துரைத்தார். மேலும் அவர் தனது உரையில் மாணவ மாணவிகளை தவறாமல் வாக்களிப்பில் கலந்து கொள்ளுமாறு கேட்டுக் கொண்டார். முனைவர். க. வீரபத்திரன் மாணவர் சங்கத் துணைத் தலைவர் இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் பங்கேற்று மாணவர்களை தங்களது ஜனநாயக கடமையை தவறாமல் ஆற்றுமாறு கேட்டுக் கொண்டார். திரு. த.ரவிக்குமார், உதவிப் பேராசிரியர் மற்றும் நாட்டு நலப்பணித் திட்ட அலுவலர் இம்முகாமை ஒருங்கிணைத்தார். மாணவர் செயலர் செல்வன் பெ. சிவகணேஷ் நன்றியுரை ஆற்றினார்.
