Blood Donation Camp by NSS Unit of FC&RI, Thoothukudi

The NSS unit of Fisheries College & Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University (TNFU), Thoothukudi organized a Blood Donation Camp on 28.03.2019. The donors were initially screened for the blood group and 45 eligible NSS volunteers donated the blood. The camp was inaugurated by Dr. P. Velayutham, Dean i/c., Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi. He told the importance of blood donation and different types of blood. The Staff of Blood Bank of Thoothukudi Government Medical College Hospital, led by Dr. Shanthi, M.B.B.S., D.C.P., conducted the camp. At the end, certificates were issued to the student volunteers who donated blood. Mr.T.Ravikumar, Assistant Professor and NSS Programme Officer, Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi made arrangement the Blood donation camp.

தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரியில் நாட்டு நலப்பணித் திட்டத்தின் சார்பில் இரத்ததான முகாம்

தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் ஓர் அங்கமான தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரியில் நாட்டுநலப் பணித்திட்டத்தின் சார்பில் இரத்ததான முகாம் 28.03.2019 அன்று நடைபெற்றது. இந்த இரத்ததான முகாமினை கல்லூரி முதல்வர் (பொ) முனைவர் ப. வேலாயுதம் அவர்கள் துவக்கி வைத்தார். பல்வேறு வகையான இரத்தம் மற்றும் இரத்ததானத்தின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை எடுத்துரைத்தார். இம் முகாமில் 45 நாட்டுநலப்பணி மாணவ, மாணவிகள் இரத்ததானம் செய்தனர். தூத்துக்குடி அரசு மருத்துவ கல்லூரியின் இரத்த வங்கி அலுவலர் டாக்டர் திருமதி. சாந்தி அவர்கள் தலைமையிலான ஊழியர்கள் இம்முகாமினை சிறப்பாக நடத்தினார்கள். இறுதியில், இரத்ததானம் அளித்த மாணவ மாணவியருக்கு நற்சான்றிதழ்கள் வழங்கப்பட்டன. இந்த இரத்ததான முகாமிற்கான ஏற்பாடுகளை திரு. த.ரவிக்குமார், உதவிப் பேராசிரியர் மற்றும் நாட்டு நலப்பணித் திட்ட அலுவலர் ஒருங்கிணைத்தார்.
