College Day Celebrations in Fisheries College, Thoothukudi

The College Day of Fisheries College and Research Institute was celebrated in a grand manner on 26 th April, 2019. The entire campus wore a festive look for the intramural cultural festival which was organized with pomp and fervour by the Students Association.

The off-stage events of the college day celebrations included quiz, face painting, cook without fire, vegetable / fruit carving, cloth painting, turn coat, mahendi, hair dressing, dubsmash, short films, college plan 3D model and Tamil poetry writing. The on stage events were conducted on 26.04.2019 including classical solo, western solo, adzap, mime show, dancing duo, standup comedy show, are you a radio jockey, translator trouble, group dance fusion, Mr. Fitness and Ms. Fisheries.

Miss. V.Subashini, Science Club Secretary welcomed the gathering. Dr.K. Veerabhadran, Vice-President of Students’ Association presented the annual report (2018-19) of the activities of the association. Mr. V.P. Jeyaseelan, I.A.S., Commissioner Thoothukudi City Municipal Corporation was the Chief Guest who encouraged the  students to touch great heights during his chief guest’s address. He wanted the students to exhibit dedication and devotion in their efforts to achieve goals and that self-confidence would carry them through. Dr.P. Velayutham, Dean i/c. & President of Students Association of Fisheries College and Research Institute delivered the presidential address. He urged that every student has to wait patiently for his time in order to achieve many things in their career. The II B.F.Sc. students bagged the overall runner shield and the III B.F.Sc. students won the Winner’s Trophy. Mr.P. Sivaganesh, General Secretary of the Students’ Association proposed the vote of thanks.

தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரியின் கல்லூரி விழா 2018-19

தூத்துக்குடியிலுள்ள மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தில் 26.04.2019 அன்று கல்லூரி விழா மிகவும் சிறப்பான முறையில் கொண்டாடப்பட்டது.

மேடை அல்லாத போட்டிகளான வினா விடை, முகச் சித்திரம் வரைதல், நெருப்பில்லாமல் சமைத்தல், காய்கனி செதுக்குதல், ஓவியம் வரைதல், மெஹந்தி, சிகை அலங்காரம் மற்றும் தமிழ் கவிதை எழுதுதல் ஆகியவை நடைபெற்றன. மேலும் கல்லூரி விழா அன்று மேடை நிகழ்ச்சிகளான, பரதநாட்டியம், மேற்கத்திய நடனம் ஆட்சப் என்னும் விளம்பரம் செய்தல், இரட்டை நபர் நடனம், நீங்கள் ரேடியோ தொகுப்பாளரா?, மொழி பெயர்ப்பாளரின் பிரச்சனைகள், குழு நடனம், மிஸ்டர் ஃபிட்னஸ், மிஸ் பிஸரிஸ் போன்ற நிகழ்ச்சிகளும் நடைபெற்றன.

செல்வி வி. சுபாசினிc அறிவியல் சங்க செயலாளர் வரவேற்புரை நிகழ்த்தினார். முனைவர் க. வீரபத்திரன்ரூபவ் மாணவர் சங்கத் துணைத் தலைவர் அவர்கள் சங்கத்தின் ஆண்டறிக்கையை (2018-19) வாசித்தார். திரு. வி.பி. ஜெயசீலன், ஐ.யு.ளு தூத்துக்குடி மாநகராட்சி ஆணையர் அவர்கள் சிறப்பு விருந்தினராக பங்கேற்றார். அவர் தனது சிறப்புரையில் மாணவர்கள் தங்களின் அர்ப்பணிப்பு மற்றும் முனைப்புடன் தங்கள் திறமைகளை வெளிக்கொணர்ந்து குறிக்கோள்களை அடைந்து அதன் மூலம் தன்னம்பிக்கையைப் பெறலாம் என்றார். மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி முதல்வர் (பொ). முனைவர் ப.வேலாயுதம் விழாவிற்கு தலைமை தாங்கி தலைமையுரை ஆற்றினார். அவரது தலைமையுரையில் ஒவ்வொரு மாணவர்களும் அவரவர்களின் சரியான தருணத்திற்கேற்ப வாழ்க்கையில் சாதனைகள் புரிய வேண்டும் என்று அறிவுறுத்தினார். விழாவில் மூன்றாம் ஆண்டு மாணவர்கள் முதலிடத்தை பிடித்து வெற்றிக் கோப்பையையும் இரண்டாம் ஆண்டு மாணவர்கள் இரண்டாம் இடத்தைப் பெற்றனர். இறுதியாக மாணவப் பொதுச்செயலாளர் திரு.ப.சிவகணேஷ் நன்றியுரையாற்றினார்.
