Kayalagam – Fish Processing Incubation Center and Fishery Product Retail Outlet Inaugurated by Vice Chancellor, TNJFU at Fisheries College and Research Institute , Thoothukudi

On the occasion of world fisheries day, Thursday 21.11.2019, Dr. S. Felix, Vice-Chancellor, TNJFU inaugurated the Kayalagam – Fish Processing Incubation Center at Fisheries College and Research Institute campus and Kayalagam – Fishery Product Retail Outlet at Teachers colony, Thoothukudi by lighting of lamp. The Kayalagam scheme was sponsored by NADP for development of more fisheries entrepreneurs through incubation support for production of value added fish products at Kayalagam – Fish Processing Incubation Center. The projects also support the entrepreneurs by storage, selling and quality testing of fish and fishery products through Kayalagam –Retail Outlet . Dr.P Velayutham Dean i/c FC&RI presided over the function. Th. F. Parthiban, Assistant professor and Co-Principal Investigator of the scheme organized the inaugural function.   There are 20 Nos. of value added fishery products were prepared and kept for sales.  Dr.D.Sukumar Professor and Head DFPT were coordinated the arrangments. Mrs. Chinnarani, Chendurapoo, woman Self Help Group, Thoothukudi received the first copy of fishery product broach ears. All the Heads of Department, teaching staff, administrative staff and students were also participated to grace the occasion.

தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் துணைவேந்தர் எஸ்.பெலிக்ஸ் கயலகம் - மீன் பதன தொழில் காப்பகம் மற்றும் மீன் பொருட்கள் விற்பனை நிலையத்தை தொடங்கி வைத்தார்.  உலக மீன்வள தினமான நவம்பர் 21-ந் தேதி வியாழக்கிழமை அன்று  தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைகழகத்தின் துணைவேந்தர் அவர்கள் மீன்வளத்தில் தொழில் முனைவோரை ஊக்கப்படுத்வதற்காக தேசிய வேளாண் அபிவிருத்தி திட்டத்தின் நிதியின் மூலம் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட கயலகம் - மீன் பதன தொழில் காப்பகத்தை மீன்வளக்கல்லூரி வளாகத்திலும் கயலகம் - மீன் பொருட்கள் விற்பனை நிலையத்தை ஆசிரியர் காலனியிலும் தொடங்கி வைத்தார். மீன்வளக்கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின் முதல்வர் (பொ) முனைவர் ப. வேலாயுதம் தலைமை தாங்கினார்.  துணை திட்ட ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் மற்றும் உதவிப்பேராசிரியரான பா. பார்த்திபன் விழாவினை ஏற்பாடு செய்திருந்தார். இதில் 20 வகையான மதிப்பூட்டிய மீன் பொருட்கள் செய்யப்பட்டு விற்பனைக்கு வைக்கப்பட்டது. மீன்பதன தொழில்நுட்பவியல் துறை தலைவர் து. சுகுமார் அவர்கள் விழாவினை சீரமைத்தார். செந்தூரப்பூ மகளிர் சுய உதவிக்குழு தலைவி திருமதி சின்னராணி அவர்கள் விழாவில் வெளியிட்ட பயிற்சி மடிப்பிதழ்களின் முதல் பதிப்பை பல்கலை துணைவேந்தரிடமிருந்து பெற்றுக்கொண்டார். கல்லூரியின் ;அனைத்து துறைத்தலைவர்கள் பேராசிரியர்கள் நிர்வாக அலுவலக அலுவலர்கள் மற்றும் மாணவர்கள் பங்கேற்று விழாவினை சிறப்பித்தனர்.
