NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY CELEBRATION AT FISHERIES COLLEGE AND RESEARCH INSTITUTE, THOOTHUKUDI

National Science Day was observed at Fisheries College and Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Dr.J.Jayalalithaa Fisheries University, Thoothukudi on 01.03.2021. Various competitions were held among the students on this occasion, including seminar presentation on reaching the unreached through science and technology, poster making on sustainable aquaculture, slogan making on Sir C. V. Raman, essay writing on aquaculture in 2050 (Your Perspective), and quiz competitions. Miss. Sanofarnisha, IV B.F.Sc. gave a special note on the National Science Day. Mr. M.Vishal, IV B.F.Sc. welcomed the gatherings. Dr.S.Athithan, Vice-President of Students’ Association spoke on the importance of celebrating the National Science Day. Dr.N.V.Sujathkumar, Dean In-charge, gave the presidential address and presented prizes and certificates to the winners and runners. The vote of thanks was delivered by Miss G.Harini, IV B.F.Sc. All the students, teaching and non-teaching staff actively participated in the function.
