Awareness Training programme on “Entrepreneurship in Marine Products”

Under the funding support of Entrepreneurs Development Innovation Institute (EDII), Chennai, the Marine Products Business Incubation Forum (MPBIF), which is being operated at Fisheries College and Research Institute, TNJFU, Thoothukudi, organized a one day awareness training programme on “Entrepreneurship in Marine Products” on 21.12.2021 for the benefits of the students of St.Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering, Nagercoil. A total of 42 beneficiaries assisted with Dr. J. JerlinRajan and Jasmine Suguna, Assistant Professors, Department of MBA from St.Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering, Nagercoil attended this training programme. During the morning technical session Dr. P. Ganesan, Assistant Professor and Head & Project coordinator of EDII- MPBIF welcomed the gathering and gave key points regarding the Avenues of Entrepreneurship in Marine Products and visited the EDII- Marine Products incubation forum in the Department of Fish Processing Technology to know about the incubation facilities. Dr. N.V. Sujathkumar, Dean in-charge, who stressed that progressive farmers/entrepreneurs had established their own units after attending similar training programmes given by this institute and also, he has given a talk on an overview of FC&RI, Thoothukudi during his lectures. The beneficiaries were also given another special lectures pertaining to Traits of fish entrepreneurs by our Dr. R. Santhakumar, Professor and Head, DFEES, Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi.Ms. M. Ruthra, CEO, EDII-MPBIF, FCRI, Thoothukudi puts her inputs regarding agribusiness management and marketing. The valedictory function was conducted in the evening which was presided over by Dr. N.V. Sujathkumar, Dean i/c, FCRI, Thoothukudi and he also extended his constant support and fed his inputs to the beneficiaries in entrepreneurial developments and achievements. The participants registered their feedback on the conducted training program. The Dean i/c, FCRI, Thoothukudi, then distributed the certificates to the participants. Dr. P. Ganesan, Project Co-ordinator, EDII-MPBIF, FC&RI, Thoothukudi organized this training programme.

தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர். ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் ஓர் அங்கமான தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தில் 21.12.2021அன்று “கடல் உணவுப் பொருட்களில் தொழில் முனைதல்” என்ற ஒரு நாள் விழிப்புணர்வு பயிற்சியானது நாகர்கோவிலில் உள்ள செயின்ட் சேவியர் கத்தோலிக் பொறியியல் கல்லூரியைச் சேர்ந்த 44 மாணவ-மாணவிகளுக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டது. மேலும் இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் முனைவர். ஜே. ஜேர்லின் ராஜன் திருமதி. ஜாஸ்மின் சுகுனாஉதவி பேராசியர்கள் செயின்ட் சேவியர் கத்தோலிக் பொறியியல் கல்லூரி அவர்கள் பங்கேற்றனர். இப்பயிற்சியானது சென்னையிலுள்ள தொழில்முனைவோர் மேம்பாட்டு ஆணையத்தின் நிதிஉதவியுடன் தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக்கல்லூரியில் இயங்கிகொண்டிருக்கும் கடல்சார் உணவுப்பொருள் வணிக மையத்தின் வாயிலாக நடைபெற்றது. இந்நிகழ்ச்சியினை முனைவர் பா. கணேசன் உதவிப்பேராசிரியர் மற்றும் தலைவர் மீன்பதனதொழில் நுட்பத்துறை மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையம் தூத்துக்குடி துவக்கி வைத்து தொழில்முனைவதற்கு வாய்ப்பான கடல் உணவுப்பொருட்கள் என்ற தலைப்பில் சிறப்புரையாற்றினார். மேலும் பயிற்சியாளர்கள் மீன்பதனதொழில் நுட்பத்துறையில் உள்ள கடல்சார் உணவுப்பொருள் வணிக மையத்தின் வசதிகளைப் பற்றி அறிந்து கொண்டனர். முனைவர் ந.வ. சுஜாத்குமார் முதல்வர் (பொ) மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையம் தூத்துக்குடி துவக்கி வைத்து இப்பயிற்சியின் முக்கியத்துவத்தையும் ஏற்கனவே இது போன்ற பயிற்சி பெற்ற பயனாளிகள் மீன்பதனம் மற்றும் அதன் சார்ந்த தொழிலில் தொழில்முனைவோர்களாக உருவாகி வளர்ந்து வருகிறார்கள் என்றும் கல்லூரியின் ஆலோசனைகளை பெற்று பயிற்சியாளர்கள் பயனடையுமாறு அறிவுறுத்தினார். இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் முனைவர் இரா. சாந்தகுமார் பேராசிரியர் மற்றும் துறைத்தலைவர் மீன்வளவிரிவாக்கம் பொருளாதாரம் மற்றும் புள்ளியியல் துறை அவர்கள் மீன்வள தொழில் முனைவோரின் பண்புகளின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை எடுத்துரைத்தார். செல்வி. எம். ருத்ரா ஊநுழு அவர்கள் வேளாண் வணிக மேலாண்மை மற்றும் சந்தைப் படுத்துதல் தொடர்பான தனது கருத்துக்களை தெரிவித்தார். இந்நிகழ்ச்சியின் நிறைவு விழாவில் முனைவர் ந.வ. சுஜாத்குமார் முதல்வர் (பொ) மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையம் தலைமை தாங்கி பயிற்சியாளர்களுக்கு சான்றிதழ் வழங்கி சிறப்பித்தார். மேலும் இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் பங்கு பெற்ற பயனாளிகள் பயிற்சி பற்றிய தங்களின் கருத்துக்களை பதிவு செய்தனர். இப்பயிற்சியினை முனைவர் பா. கணேசன் உதவிப்பேராசிரியர் மற்றும் தலைவர் மீன்பதனதொழில் நுட்பத்துறை அவர்கள் ஒருங்கிணைத்தார்.
