Workshop on “Sprouting Entrepreneurship in Marine Products” held from 22.02.2022 to 24.02.2022

Under the funding support of Entrepreneurs Development Innovation Institute (EDII), Chennai, the Marine Products Business Incubation Forum (MPBIF), which is being operated at Fisheries College and Research Institute, TNJFU, Thoothukudi, organized a three daysworkshop on “Sprouting Entrepreneurship in Marine Products” from 22.02.2022 to 24.02.2022. A total of 36participants registered for the event and they were the students from APC Mahalaxmi College for Women, Thoothukudi. Day one started with the technical sessions,Dr. P. Ganesan, Assistant Professor and Head & Project coordinator of EDII- MPBIF welcomed the gathering during the inaugural and gave key points regarding the Avenues of Entrepreneurship in Marine Products and coordinated the visit of EDII- Marine Products Business Incubation Forum in the Department of Fish Processing Technology to know about the incubation facilities.

Dr. N.V. Sujathkumar, Dean i/c, FCRI, Thoothukudi, presided over the inaugural function. During the course of training programme on consecutive days (23.02.2022&24.02.2022), preparation of seaweed /fish based bakery products such as cake, biscuits, bread, and fish based battered and breaded products, and fish pickles were demonstrated for the benefit of trainees.The valedictory function was conducted on the 3 rd day of the training programme which was presided over by Dr. N.V. Sujathkumar, Dean i/c, FCRI, Thoothukudi and he also extended his constant support and fed his inputs to the beneficiaries in entrepreneurial developments and achievements. The participants registered their feedback on the conducted training program.

The Dean i/c, FCRI, Thoothukudi, then distributed the certificates to the participants. Dr. P. Ganesan, Project Co-ordinator, EDII-MPBIF, FC&RI, Thoothukudi organized this training programme.

தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர். ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் ஓர் அங்கமான தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தில் 22.02.2022 முதல் 24.02.2022 வரை “கடல் உணவுப் பொருட்களில் தொழில் முனைதல்”என்ற மூன்றுநாள் தொழில்நுட்ப செயல் விளக்கப் பயிற்சியானது தூத்துக்குடியில் உள்ள ஏ.பி.சிமகாலட்சுமி மகளிர் கல்லூரியைச் சேர்ந்த 36 மாணவியர் மற்றும் ஆசிரியைகளுக்கு பயிற்சி வழங்கப்பட்டது. இப்பயிற்சியானது சென்னையிலுள்ள தொழில்முனைவோர் மேம்பாட்டு ஆணையத்தின் நிதிஉதவியிடன் தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக்கல்லூரியில் இயங்கி கொண்டிருக்கும் கடல்சார் உணவுப்பொருள் வணிகமையத்தின் வாயிலாக நடைபெற்றது. இந்நிகழ்ச்சியினை முனைவர்; ந.வ. சுஜாத்குமார் முதல்வர் (பொ) மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையம் தூத்துக்குடி துவக்கி வைத்து இப்பயிற்சியின் முக்கியத்துவத்தையும் ஏற்கனவே இது போன்ற பயிற்சி பெற்ற பயனாளிகள் மீன்பதனம் மற்றும் அதன் சார்ந்த தொழிலில் தொழில்முனைவோர்களாக உருவாகி வளர்ந்து வருகிறார்கள் என்றும் கல்லூரியின் ஆலோசனைகளை பெற்று பயிற்சியாளர்கள் பயனைடயுமாறு அறிவுறுத்தினார். முனைவர் பா. கணேசன் உதவிப் பேராசிரியர் மற்றும் தலைவர் மீன்பதனதொழில் நுட்பத்துறை பயிற்சியாளர்களை வரவேற்றார்.

மீன் உணவில் தொழில் முனைவோரின் பண்புகள் மற்றும் கடல் உணவுப்பொருள்களில் தொழில் முனைவோhருக்கான வாய்ப்புகள் மற்றும் அவை சார்ந்த தொழில் தொடங்குவதற்கான நிதிவழிகள் என்ற தலைப்புகளில் சிறப்பு வகுப்புகள் நடைபெற்றன. இப்பயிற்சியில் பயிற்சியாளர்களுக்கு கடற்பாசி சேர்த்த அடுமனை உணவுப்பொருட்கள் மீன்சேர்த்த ரொட்டி தோய்ந்த உணவுப்பொருட்கள் மற்றும் ஊறுகாய் தயாரிப்புகுறித்த செயல் விளக்கப் பயிற்சிகள் வழங்கப்பட்டது. இப்பயிற்சியின் நிறைவு விழாவில் மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின் முதல்வர் (பொ) முனைவர் ந.வ. சுஜாத்குமார் தலைமை தாங்கி சிறப்பித்தார். மேலும் இப்பயிற்சியின் நிறைவு விழாவில் பங்குபெற்ற பயனாளிகள் பயிற்சி பற்றிய தங்களின் கருத்துக்களை பதிவு செய்தனர். பயிற்சியாளர்களுக்கு முனைவர் ந.வ. சுஜாத்குமார் முதல்வர் (பொ) சான்றிதழ் வழங்கி சிறப்பித்தார். இப்பயிற்சியினை முனைவர் பா. கணேசன் உதவிப்பேராசிரியர் மற்றும் தலைவர் மீன்பதனதொழில் நுட்பத்துறை அவர்கள் ஒருங்கிணைத்தார்.
