Training Programme on “Integrated Multi-Trophic Aquaculture (IMTA) based culture system” Conducted at Mariculture Research Farm Facility, DAQ, FC&RI,Tharuvaikulam

Mariculture Research Farm Facility, Department of Aquaculture, Fisheries College
and Research Institute,Tharuvaikulam a constituent Institute of Tamil Nadu Dr. J.
Jayalalithaa Fisheries University, organized a two days training programme under NADP
funded Scheme on “Integrated Multi-Trophic Aquaculture (IMTA) based
culture culture technology to augment fish production as an alternative
livelihood for the fisherfolk of Tharuvaikulam, Tamil Nadu” between 15.03.2022
and 16.03.2022 for Technology dissemination under the Scheme. In this training
programme a total of 20 participants (4 males and 16 females) from Tharuvaikulam
fishing village participated in the training and got benefited. The Valedictory function
for the training was held on 16.03.2022. In this Valedictory function Mr.K.S.Vijay
Amirtharaj Assistant Professor and Head i/c, welcomed the gathering.
Dr.R.Santhakumar, Dean i/c, FC&RI, Tuticorin delivered the presidential address and in
this presidential address he stated about the scope for fisherwomen and fishermen for
an alternative source of livelihood from integrated farming system and he also
mentioned about the future scope for marine fish production through cage farming in
sea. The Dean i/c, has also released the training pamphlet on “Suitable species for
culture in IMTA” for the benefit of the trainees in this Valedictory function. Certificates
were also distributed to the participants by the Dean i/c. R.MariaSahayaChristika,
Project Assistant of the Scheme proposed the vote of thanks.

ஒருங்கிணைந்த பண்ணடுக்கு கடற்சார் நீருயிரிவளர்ப்பு (ஐஆவுயு) தொழில்நுட்பம் குறித்து

இரண்டுநாள்; பயிற்சி அளிக்கப்பட்டது.

தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர். ஜெ. ஜெயலலிலதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக் கழகத்தின் ஓர் அங்கமான கடற்சார்
உயிரினவளர்;ப்பு ஆராய்ச்சி; பண்ணைவசதி தருவைக்குளத்தில் 15.03.2022 முதல் 16.03.2022 வரை
“ஒருங்கிணைந்த பண்ணடுக்கு கடற்சார் நீருயிரி வளர்ப்பு” குறித்த இரண்டு நாள் பயிற்சி
தருவைக்குளத்தில் வாழும் மீனவ சமுதாய மக்களுக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டது. இப்பயிற்சியானது தேசிய வேளாண்
அபிவிருத்தித் திட்டத்தின் நிதியுதவியுடன் நடைபெற்றது. இதில்ரூபவ் தருவைக்குள ஊராட்சியை சார்ந்த மீனவ
மக்கள் மொத்தம் 20 நபர்கள் (4 ஆண்கள் மற்றும் 16 பெண்கள்); பயிற்சி பெற்று பயனடைந்தனர்.
இப்பயிற்சியின் நிறைவுவிழா 16.03.2022 அன்று நடைபெற்றது. இந்நிகழ்சியில் திரு. க.சே.
விஜய் அமிர்தராஜ்ரூபவ் உதவிப்பேராசிரியர் மற்றும் தலைவர் (பொ)ரூபவ் அவர்கள்ரூபவ் வரவேற்புரையை
வழங்கி பயிற்சியாளர்களை வரவேற்றார்;. இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில ;முனைவர் ரா. சாந்தகுமார்ரூபவ் முதல்வர்
(பொ)ரூபவ் மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சிநிலையம்ரூபவ் தலைமை உரையாற்றினார். அவரது
உரையில் கடல்கூண்டுமீன் வளர்ப்பு மேற்கொள்வதால் மீனவசமுதாய மக்களுக்கு ஒர் மாற்று வாழ்வாதர
வாய்ப்புகள் குறித்து எடுத்துரைத்;தார். எதிர்கால கடல் மீன் தேவையினை கடல் கூண்டுகள் மூலம்
வளர்க்கப்படும் மீன்களே பூர்த்தி செய்யும் நிலை உண்டாகும் என்பதைக் குறிப்பிட்டார்;. மேலும்ரூபவ்
முனைவர் ரா. சாந்தகுமார்ரூபவ் முதல்வர் (பொ)ரூபவ் இப்பயிற்சிக்கான பயிற்சிக்கான சிற்றேடுகளை
வெளியி;ட முதல் பிரதியினை திரு. க.சே. விஜய் அமிர்தராஜ்ரூபவ் உதவிப்பேராசிரியர் மற்றும்
தலைவர் (பொ)ரூபவ் அவர்கள் பெற்றுக் கொண்டார். மேலும்ரூபவ் பயிற்சியாளர்களுக்கான
சான்றிதழ்களையும் வழங்கினார். இந்நிறைவு விழாவில் ரா. மரிய சகாய கிறிஸ்டிகாரூபவ்
திட்டஉதவியாளர் நன்றியுரை ஆற்றினார்.
