Conducted an Intercollegiate Quiz Competition FIZZOREE 2022

An inter-collegiate quiz competition “FIZZOREE 2022” was conducted at Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi on 02.06.2022. The FIZZOREE is celebrated every year at Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi since 1983 and the 37 th edition of the quiz competition was organized by the Students’ Association. Six colleges from different regions of Tamil Nadu participated in the preliminary rounds of the quiz competition, of which, five teams were selected for the final rounds, that include Agricultural College and Research Institute, Killikulam, Institute of Post Graduate Studies (OMR Campus), Chennai Dr.MGR Fisheries College and Research Institute (Ponneri), Veterinary College and Research Institute (VC&RI) (Tirunelveli) and VOC College (Thoothukudi).

In a highly competitive ten rounds of quiz, Agricultural College and Research Institute (Killikulam) emerged as the Winner and won the Dolphinous Trophy and cash reward of Rs.3000 followed by the Institute of Post Graduate Studies (OMR Campus) as the runner by winning a cash prize of Rs.2000 and Dr.MGR Fisheries College and Research Institute (Ponneri) won the 3 rd position reward of Rs.1000. Dr.S.Athithan, Professor & Head and Vice President (Students’ Association) of this college was the Quiz Master. Dr.D.Nehru, Dean, Medical College, Thoothukudi was the Chief Guest and awarded prizes to the winners.

He explained the commitment of his profession towards developing the youth of Thoothukudi and how the knowledge and skill would shape up individuals to become successful in life.

Earlier, Dr.N.V.Sujathkumar, Dean i/c, Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi who presided over the function.

தமிழ்நாடுடாக்டர் ஜெ.ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் ஓர் அங்கமான தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரிமற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தில் கல்லூரிகளுக்கிடையேயான வினாடி-வினாபோட்டி“ஃபிசோரி 2022” 02.06.2022 அன்று நடைபெற்றது. இந்த“ஃபிசோரி” ஆனது 1983ம் ஆண்டு முதல் நடைபெற்று வருகிறது மற்றும் இந்த ஆண்டு வினாடி-வினா போட்டியானதுரூபவ் 37வது ஆண்டு நிகழ்வாக கல்லூரி மாணவர் சங்கத்தால் நடத்தப்பட்டது. தமிழகத்தின் பல்வேறு பகுதியைச் சேர்ந்த ஆறு கல்லூரியின் மாணவர்கள் இந்த வினாடி-வினா போட்டியில் கலந்து கொண்டனர். வினாடி-வினா போட்டியின் முதற்கட்ட சுற்றில் கிள்ளிகுளம் வேளாண்மைக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனம்இ முதுகலை பட்டதாரி ஆய்வு நிறுவனம் (OMR Campus) மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனம் (பொன்னேரி) கால்நடை மருத்துவக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனம் (VC&RI) (திருநெல்வேலி) மற்றும் வஉசி கல்லூரி (தூத்துக்குடி) ஆகிய ஐந்து அணிகள் இறுதிச் சுற்றுக்குத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டன. மிகவும் போட்டி நிறைந்த பத்து சுற்று வினாடி வினாவில்இ வேளாண் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனம் (கிள்ளிக்குளம்) வெற்றியாளராகிஇ டால்ஃபினஸ் கோப்பை மற்றும் ரூ.3000 ரொக்கப் பரிசை வென்றது அதைத் தொடர்ந்து இன்ஸ்டிடியூட் ஆஃப் முதுகலை படிப்புகள் (OMR Campus) 2 வது இடத்தையும் ரொக்கப் பரிசு ரூ.2000 மற்றும் டாக்டர்.எம்.ஜி.ஆர் மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனம் (பொன்னேரி) 3வது இடத்தையும் ரூ.1000 பரிசு வென்றது. இக்கல்லூரியின் துணைத் தலைவர் (மாணவர் சங்கம்) டாக்டர் எஸ்.ஆதித்தன் வினாடி வினா மாஸ்டராக இருந்தார்.

தூத்துக்குடி மருத்துவக் கல்லூரி டீன் டாக்டர்.டி.நேரு சிறப்பு விருந்தினராக கலந்து கொண்டு வெற்றி பெற்றவர்களுக்கு பரிசுகளை வழங்கினார். தூத்துக்குடி இளைஞர்களை மேம்படுத்துவதில் தனது தொழில்துறையின் அர்ப்பணிப்பு மற்றும் அறிவும் திறமையும் எவ்வாறு தனிமனிதர்களை வாழ்க்கையில் வெற்றியடையச் செய்யும் என்பதை விளக்கினார்.

விழாவிற்கு தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனத்தின் டீன் I/C N.ஏ.சுஜாத்குமார் தலைமை வகித்தார். மாணவர் சங்க துணைத் தலைவர் டாக்டர் எஸ்.ஆதித்தன் வரவேற்றார். இலக்கிய கழக செயலாளர் திரு.இ.சக்திவேல் நன்றியுரை வழங்கினார்.
