Inter-collegiate Cultural Competition FISFEST 2022

An Intercollegiate cultural competition was organized by the Literary Association of Students’ Association of Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi on 03.06.2022. About 150 students from eight colleges of Southern districts of Tamil Nadu participated in the competition. The events of the competition included, Solo Dance – classical and Western, Solo singing, Individual Talent, Ad-Zap, Dubsmash, Group Dance – Folk, Rangoli, Turncoat, Paper Dressing, Chart Painting and Art from waste. The team from V.O.C. College, Thoothukudi won the ever rolling winner’s FISFEST trophy 2022 and the prize money of Rs.5000/-. The participants from Dr.MGR Fisheries College and Research Institute, Ponneri won the runner up trophy and the prize money of Rs.2000/-.

Dr.S.Athithan, Vice-President of Students’ Association welcomed the gathering. Dr.N.V.Sujathkumar, Dean i/c, Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi who presided over the the valedictory function. Dr.A.Palanisammi, Dean, VC&RI, Tirunelveli was the Chief Guest and distributed prizes to the winners.

In his address, he commended the role of students and youth in taking up social issues for the benefit of the community, besides expressing happiness over the excellent organizational skills of the students. Mr. E.Sakthivel, the Literary Association Secretary proposed the vote of thanks. All staff and students of the institute participated in the event.

தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தில் 03.06.2022 அன்று பல்வேறு கல்லூரிகளுக்கிடையேயான “மீன்வளத் திருவிழா” இக்கல்லூரியின் இலக்கியத் துறை மாணவர் சங்கத்தால் நடத்தப்பட்டது. இவ்விழாவில் பல்வேறு மாவட்டங்களிலிருந்து 8 கல்லூரிகளைச் சார்ந்த சுமார் 150 மாணவ மாணவியர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டனர். இந்த கலைவிழாவில் தனி நபர் பாடல் ஓவியப்போட்டி கோலப்போட்டி விளம்பரயுக்தியைகையாளுதல் தனிநபர் நடனம் குழு நடனம் பேச்சுப்போட்டி டப்ஸ்மாஸ் x தனித்திறமைவெளிப்படுத்துதல் காகித ஆடை மற்றும் கழிவிலிருந்து கலை உருவாக்குதல் போன்ற போட்டிகள் நடத்தப்பட்டன. இப்போட்டியில் முதல் பரிசு தூத்துக்குடி வ. உ. சி. கல்லூரி சுழற்கோப்பையை வென்றுரொக்கப் பரிசாக ரூ.5000யும் வென்றனர்.

டாக்டர் எம்.ஜி.ஆர். மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையம் பொன்னேரி இரண்டாவது பரிசிற்கான கேடயத்தையும் மற்றும் ரொக்கத் பரிசாக ரூ.2000ஐ வென்றார்கள். மாணவர் சங்கத்தின் துணைத்தலைவர் முனைவர் சா.ஆதித்தன் அவர்கள் வரவேற்புரை ஆற்றினார். வுpழாவிற்கு தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின் முதல்வர் முனைவர் ந.வ.சுஜாத்குமார் தலைமை வகித்தார். திருநெல்வேலி கால்நடை மருத்துக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலைய முதல்வர் முனைவர் பழனிச்சாமி அவர்கள் சிறப்பு விருந்தினராக கலந்து கொண்டு போட்டியில் வெற்றி பெற்ற மாணவ மாணவியர்களுக்கு பரிசு மற்றும் சான்றிதழ்களை வழங்கினார். அவர் தனது சிறப்புரையில ;சமுதாயப் பிரச்சனைகளில் மாணவர்களின் பங்களிப்பையும் முக்கியத்துவத்தையும் எடுத்துக்கூறி மாணவர்கள் இவ்விழாவை சிறப்பாக ஒருங்கிணைத்துள்ளனர் என்று வெகுவாக பராட்டினார். மாணவர் சங்க இலக்கிய அணி செயலாளர் திரு.இ.சக்திவேல் நன்றியுரை ஆற்றினார். இவ்விழாவில் மாணவ மாணவிகள் ஆசிரியர்கள் மற்றும் அலுவலர்கள் திரளாக பங்குகொண்டனர்.
