Training programme on “ Microbial Quality testing of Fish and Fishery Products”

A five days training programme on “Microbial Quality testing of Fish and Fishery Products” was conducted at Department of Fish Quality Assurance and Management, Fisheries College and Research Institute, TamilNadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University, Thoothukudi from 17.10.2022 to 21.10.2022 based on the request from Seafood industries. Twelve participants representing various seafood industries such as; Edhayam Frozen Foods Pvt. Ltd. , Thoothukudi; Theva & Co., Thoothukudi; Diamond seafood , Thoothukudi, Kader Investment and Trading Co. Pvt. Ltd., Thoothukudi , Asvini Fisheries Pvt. Ltd., Thoothukudi , Peninsular Fisheries Pvt. Ltd., Kanyakumari, Maria Aquacon Pvt. Ltd., Kanyakumari. , participated. Dr. N. V. Sujathkumar, Dean i/c, Fisheries College and Research Institute inaugurated and released the training manual on “Microbial Quality testing of Fish and Fishery Products” prepared for the benefit of the trainees . Dr. R. Shalini and Dr. F. Parthiban Assistant Professors served as Training Co-ordinators. The trainees were then given hands on training in Isolation and Identification of seafood pathogens, Enumeration of Microorganisms, HACCP for seafood industries which is vital for the QC Technologists of the seafood industries to produce safe and quality seafood that meets stringent International Food Safety Regulation. Training Certificates were distributed to the participants during valedictory function.

“மீன் மற்றும் மீன் பொருட்களில் நுண்ணுயிர் தரத்திற்கானசோதனை” பயிற்சி தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் உறுப்பு கல்லூரியான மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின் கீழ் இயங்கிவரும் மீன் தர உறுதிபாடு மற்றும் மேலாண்மை துறையில்; “மீன் மற்றும் மீன் பொருட்களில் நுண்ணுயிர் தரத்திற்கான சோதனைக்கான பயிற்சி” 17.10.2022 முதல் 22.10.2022 வரைநடைபெற்றது.

இப்பயிற்சியில் தூத்துக்குடி மற்றும் கன்னியாகுமரி மாவட்டங்களில் இயங்கிவரும் கடலுணவு ஏற்றுமதி நிறுவனங்களான இதயம் புரோசன் ஃபுட் பிரைவட் லிமிடட் தூத்துக்குடி தேவாஅன்கோ தூத்துக்குடி டைமன்ட் சிபுட் தூத்துக்குடி காதர் இன்வெஸ்ட்மண்ட் அன்ட் டிரேடிங் கோ. பிரைவட். லிமிடட் தூத்துக்குடி அஸ்வின pபிஸரீஸ் பிரைவட் லிமிடட் தூத்துக்குடி பெனின்சுலார் பிஸரீஸ் பிரைவட் லிமிடட் கன்னியாகுமரி மரியாஅக்வாகான் பிரைவட் லிமிடட் கன்னியாகுமரியிலிருந்து 12 பயிற்சியாளர்கள் பங்குபெற்றுபயனடைந்தனர். இக்கல்லூரியின் பொறுப்பு முதல்வர் முனைவர் என்.வி. சுஜாத்குமார் அவர்கள் பயிற்சி துவக்கவிழாவில்“மீன் மற்றும் மீன் பொருட்களில் நுண்ணுயிர் தரத்திற்கான சோதனை பயிற்சிகையேடு வெளியிட்டார். இவ்விழாவினைதுறையின் உதவிபேராசிரியர்களானமுனைவர்இரா. ஷாலினிமற்றும் முனைவர். பா. பார்திபன் சிறப்பாக ஒருங்கினைத்தனர். பயிற்சியாளர்களுக்கு நுண்ணுயிரிகளை கண்டறிதல் ரூயஅp;கணுக்கிடுதல் மற்றும்; மீன்பதனம்செய்யும் பொழுதுஅதில் ஊடுறுவும்; ஆபத்து காரணிகளை கண்டறிந்து கட்டுப்படுத்துவதற்கான முறைகள் விரிவாக எடுத்துரைக்கப்பட்டது. இவை தற்போதய உலக ஏற்றுமதி சந்தையில் உணவு பாதுகாப்பு மற்றும் தரத்திற்கான சட்டங்களை பூர்த்திசெய்யும் விதமாக தரகட்டுப்பாடு தொழில்நுட்பாளர்களுக்கு அத்தியாவசமானது. பயிற்சி நிறைவு விழாவில் பயனாளர்களுக்கு சான்றிதழ் வழங்கப்பட்டது.
