“Run for Unity” on the 147 th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel

Tamil Nadu Dr.J.Jayalalithaa Fisheries University organized a Mini Marathon “Run for Unity” on the 147 th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi on 31.10.2022. A total of 100 boys and 41 girls from the constituent colleges of Tamil Nadu Dr.J.Jayalalithaa Fisheries University took part in the mini marathon. Mr. G. Chandeesh, IPS, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Thoothukudi District was flagged off the race, with a 10 km run for boys starting at Pudukottai bus stop and a 5 km run for girls starting at Maravanmadam bus stop, with an end point at Fisheries College and Research Institute's Playground. The top three places in the boy's category went to Mr.S.Kumaraguru, Dr.MGR FC&RI, POnneri, Mr.P.Thileepan (College of Fish Nutrition and Food Technology, Madhavaram), Mr. S. Karthick Raja, Dr.MGR FC&RI, Thalainayeru, while the first three places in the girl's category went to Ms. A. R. Asha, Dr.MGR FC&RI, Thalainayeru, Ms.T.Vasika, (Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi) and Ms. S. Jothika, (College of Fisheries Engineering, Nagapattinam). The Medals and Trophy were presented to the winners by Mr. G. Chandeesh, IPS, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Thoothukudi District. In his Chief Guest address, he recalled the enormous efforts of India's Iron Man, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, in uniting the country's different princely states after independence, and emphasized the need of unity and integrity in taking the country forward. He also motivated the students by explaining the importance of running in the selection process of Indian Police Service. Dr.B.Ahilan, Dean, presided over the function and congratulated the winners as well as other participants. He pledged the support of all youths in maintaining unity and harmony in order to make India a better place. As a commemoration of 75 th Independence Day Celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, an inter- collegiate elocution competition was also conducted in which first two places won by Ms.T.Priyadharshini and Mr.S.Kavirevanth, and third place shared by Ms.M.Miraclin and Ms.B.Rajasheeba. Mr. F. Parthiban, the Sports Secretary, welcomed the gathering and Dr. D. Natarajan, Assistant Director of Physical Education proposed the vote of thanks. As part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2022, all the staff were administered the pledge on “Vigilance Awareness Week” under the theme for the year “Corruption free India for a developed Nation” on 31.10.2022 at 11.00 a.m.

தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தில் சர்தார் வல்லபாய் படேலின் 147வது பிறந்த நாளை முன்னிட்டு ஓற்றுமைக்கான ஒட்டப்பந்தயம் (Run for Unity)

சர்தார் வல்லபாய் படேலின் 147வது பிறந்த நாளை முன்னிட்டு 31.10.2022 அன்று தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக் கழகத்தின் சார்பில் மாணவ மாணவிகளுக்கான மினி மராத்தான் போட்டி ‘ஓற்றுமைக்கான ஓட்டம்’ என்ற பெயரில் மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையம் நடத்தியது. இதில் பல்கலைகழகத்திலுள்ள 9 கல்லூரிகளிலிருந்து மொத்தம் 100 மாணவர்கள் மற்றும் 41 மாணவிகள் பங்கு பெற்றனர். இப்போட்டியை தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்ட உதவி காவல்துறை கண்காணிப்பாளர் திரு. ஜீ. சந்தீஷ் அவர்கள் கொடியசைத்து தொடங்கி வைத்தார். மாணவர்களுக்கான 10 கி.மீ ஓட்டப்பந்தயம் புதுக்கோட்டை பேருந்து நிறுத்ததிலிருந்தும் மாணவிகளுக்கான 5 கி.மீ ஓட்டப்பந்தயம் மறவன்மடம் பேருந்து நிறுத்ததிலிருந்து தொடங்கி மீன்வளக்கல்லூரியின் விளையாட்டு மைதானத்தில நிறைவுற்றது. இப்போட்டியில் மாணவர் பிரிவில் முதல் பரிசு செல்வன். எஸ் குமரகுரு (டாக்டர் எம்.ஜி.ஆர். மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையம் பொன்னேரி) இரண்டாம் பரிசு செல்வன் தீலிபன் (மீன் ஊட்டச்சத்து மற்றும் உணவு தொழில்நுட்ப கல்லூரி மாதவரம்) முன்றாம் பரிசு எஸ். கார்த்திக் ராஜா (டாக்டர் எம்.ஜி.ஆர். மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையம் தலைஞாயிறு) மற்றும் மாணவியர் பிரிவில் முதல் பரிசு செல்வி ஏ.ஆர். ஆஷா டாக்டர் எம்.ஜி.ஆர். மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையம் தலைஞாயிறு) இரண்டாம் பரிசு செல்வி டி. வசிகா (மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையம் தூத்துக்குடி)மற்றும் முன்றாம் பரிசு எஸ். ஜோதிகா (மீன்வளப் பொறியியல் கல்லூரி நாகப்பட்டினம்) வெற்றி பெற்றனர். வெற்றி பெற்ற மாணவ மாணவிகளுக்கு தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்ட உதவி காவல்துறை கண்காணிப்பாளர் திரு. ஜீ. சந்தீஷ் அவர்கள் பரிசு கோப்பை மற்றும் சான்றிதழ் வழங்கினார். மேலும் அவர் தமது உரையில் சுதந்திரத்திற்கு பின்பு காணப்பட்ட பல சிறிய ராஜ்ஜியங்களை ஒன்றுபட்ட இந்தியாவாக மாற்றுவதற்கு இரும்பு மனிதரான சர்தார் வல்லபாய் படேலின் உழைப்பை நினைவுகூர்ந்தார்.

ஒற்றுமை மற்றும் நல்லிணக்கம் மூலமாக நல்லதொரு இந்தியாவை உருவாக்கலாம் என்றும் உரையில் கூறினார். மேலும் இந்திய காவல் பணி தேர்வு செய்வதற்கு ஓட்டம் ஒரு முக்கியமானது என்று மாணவர்களுக்கு அறிவுரை வழங்கி ஊக்குவித்தார். முனைவர் ப. அகிலன் முதல்வர் அவர்கள் தலைமையுரை நிகழ்த்தி வெற்றி பெற்ற மாணவர்களுக்கு வாழ்த்து தெரிவித்தாh.; அவரது உரையில் இளைய சமுதாயத்தினரை ஒன்றுபட்ட இந்தியாவை முன்நடத்தி செல்ல உறுதிமொழி ஏற்குமாறு அறிவுறுத்தினார். மேலும் 75வது இந்திய சுதந்திர தினத்தை நினைவு கூறும் நிகழ்ச்சியாக பல்கலைக்கழத்தின் கீழ் இயங்கும் கல்லூரி மாணவர்களிடையே சுதந்திர போராட்ட தியாகிகள் குறித்த பேச்சுப் போட்டி நடைபெற்றது. இதில் தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின் மாணவர்களான முதல் இரண்டு பரிசுகளை முறையே செல்வி டி. பிரியதர்ஷிணி செல்வன் எஸ். கவிரேவந்த் மற்றும் மூன்றாம் பரிசை செல்வி எம். மிராக்ளின் (தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையம்) மற்றும் செல்வி பி. இராஜஷீபா (மீன் ஊட்டச்சத்து மற்றும் உணவு தொழில்நுட்ப கல்லூரி மாதவரம்) ஆகியோர் பகிர்ந்து கொண்டனர். இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் விளையாட்டு செயலாளர் திரு. பா.பார்த்திபன் அவர்கள் வரவேற்றார். உதவி உடற்கல்வி இயக்குநர் முனைவர். த. நடராஜன் அவர்கள் நன்றியுரை ஆற்றினார். மேலும் ஊழல் தடுப்பு வாரம் 2022ன் தொடக்கத்தை முன்னிட்டு இக்கல்லூரியின் அனைத்து பேராசிரியர்கள் மற்றும் அலுவலர்களும் “இந்தியாவை ஊழலற்ற வளர்ந்த நாடாக்க” என்று குறிக்கோளுடன் 31.10.2022 அன்று காலை 11.00 மணியளவில் உறுதி மொழி ஏற்றுக் கொண்டனர்.
