One Day On Campus Training on “Farm Made Fish Feed Preparation”

Department of Aquaculture, Fisheries College and Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Dr. J.Jayalalithaa Fisheries University offered one day On Campus training programme on Farm Made Fish Feed Preparation on 31.10.2022. A total of 42 trainees (including 6 women) in and around Thoothukudi and from Tamil Nadu were participated.

During this programme, the various aspects of fish feed preparation such as importance of feeds in aquaculture, types of feeds, feed formulation methods, feed preparation methods, selection of fish feed ingredients, grinding and mixing of ingredients, drying, packing, quality control of fish feeds and economic aspects were taught to the trainees. Video show on fish feeds preparation was shown to the trainees. Further, trainees also exposed to feed preparation demonstration. Dr.B.Ahilan, Dean distributed the certificates to the participants and spoke on the importance of this training programme to motivate the aqua farmer’s community to take up fish feed preparation for their farms. The aim of this training programme is to provide skill based training in fish feed preparation which will pave way for self employment of the trainees. தமிழ் நாடு மீன்வள பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் ஒரு அங்கமான மீன்வளக்கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின்; கீழ் இயங்கி வரும் மீன் வளர்ப்பு துறையில்; “பண்ணை சார்ந்த மீன் தீவனம் தயாரித்தல்;” குறித்த ஒரு நாள் உள் வளாக பயிற்;சி 31.10.2022 அன்று நடை பெற்றது. இதில் தமிழ்நாட்டில் உள்ள பல்வேறு மாவட்டங்களைச் சார்ந்த 42 பயனாளிகள் (6 மகளீர் உட்பட) கலந்து கொண்டு பயன் பெற்றனர். இப்பயிற்சியில் மீனுக்கு தேவையான ஊட்டச்சத்துக்கள் மீன் தீவனம் தயாரிக்க தேவையான தாவர மற்றும் விலங்கின மூலப்பொருட்கள் தேர்ந்தெடுத்தல் தேர்ந்தெடுத்த மூலப்பொருட்களை நன்றாக அரைத்தல் மீன் தீவனம் பிழிந்தெடுக்க பயன்படும் கருவிகள் மிதவை மற்றும் மூழ்கும் மீன் தீவனம் தயாரித்தல் காயவைத்தல் மீன் தீவன தரக்கட்டுப்பாடு உற்பத்தி செலவின கணக்கீடு ஆகிய தலைப்புகளில் ஆகிய தலைப்புகளில் தொழில்நுட்ப வகுப்பு பயிற்சி வழங்கப்பட்டது.

மேலும் மிதவை மற்றும் மூழ்கும் மீன் தீவனம் தயாரித்தல் குறித்த செயல் விளக்கமும் செய்து காண்பிக்கப்பட்டது. இப்பயிற்சியின் நிறைவு விழாவில் மீன்வளக்கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின் முதல்வர் முனைவர் ப. அகிலன் அவர்கள் பயிற்சியில் கலந்து கொண்ட பயனாளிகளுக்கு சான்றிதழ்களை வழங்கினார். மேலும் தனது உரையில் இப்பயிற்சியின் முக்கியத்துவம் குறித்தும் பொருளாதாரத்தில் நலிந்த மீனவ சமுதாயத்திற்கு இப்பயிற்சியால் ஏற்படும் மாற்று தொழில்கள் மூலம் வாழ்வாதாரத்தை உயர்த்த முடியும் என்று எடுத்துரைத்தார்.
