PROGRAMME ON “Inauguration of IEDP – Fisheries Hub cum Top Management Meet and Awareness on Innovation Voucher Programme”

Tamil Nadu Dr.J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University (TNJFU) inaugurated an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Program (IEDP) – Fisheries Hub with funding support from EDII, Chennai. Through this TNJFU is recognized to serve as the IEDP hub for fisheries domain to implement IEDP activities along with spoke colleges across Tamil Nadu. The program was organized at Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi, a constituent college of TNJFU. Dr.K.Senthil Raj, IAS., District Collector, Thoothukudi inaugurated the event and served as the chief guest. The Vice Chancellor of TNJFU, Dr. G. Sugumar, Ph.D., presided over the event. Mr. R.Muthuraman, Additional Director, EDII, Chennai overviewed the functioning of EDII-TN. Dr. B. Ahilan, Ph.D., Dean, FC&RI, Thoothukudi welcomed the gathering. During the program, Collector distributed certificates to the participants of the Design Thinking Workshop to the students of Thoothukudi government polytechnic college. Further, EDII-MPBIF received its 6 th installment of the incubation grant which was issued by the Additional Director, EDII-TN and received by the Vice Chancellor, TNJFU, Nagapattinam. Also, EDII released the 2 nd installment of the IVP grant and it was issued to the IVP awardee M/s. Nutrigenetics Life Science Pvt Ltd by the Vice Chancellor, TNJFU. All teaching and non-teaching staff of FC&RI, Thoothukudi, staff of EDII & EDII-Marine products business incubation forum (EDII-MPBIF), incubatees of EDII-MPBIF and the students of FC&RI, Thoothukudi participated in the event. Finally, Dr. P. Ganesan, the IEDP – Fisheries Hub coordinator and programme organizer delivered the vote of thanks and with that, the inaugural program came to an end. The district collector of Thoothukudi, Vice-Chancellor, TNJFU, Additional Director, EDII-TN, The Dean, FC&RI, Thoothukudi interacted with the incubatees of EDII -MPBIF, DFPT, FC&RI, Thoothukudi who displayed their products. The session was also included with the Top Management Meet addressed by Mr. R.Muthuraman, Additional Director, EDII-TN and the team members. Followed by organizing a session on Innovation Voucher Program (IVP) to the college students. During the sessions students were made to interact with the incubatees of EDII-MPBIF and with the IVP awardee who have successfully turned to a start-up. They shared their success stories and motivated the students during the session and the program came to an end.

தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர். ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் ஓர் அங்கமான தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தில் 09.11.2022 அன்று “புத்தாக்க தொழில் முனைவோர் உருவாக்கத் திட்ட தொடக்க விழா நடைபெற்றது. சென்னையிலுள்ள தொழில்முனைவோர் மேம்பாட்டு ஆணையத்தின் நிதி உதவியுடன் நடைபெறக்கூடிய இத்திட்ட தொடக்க விழாவில் தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் டாக்டர். கே. செந்தில்ராஜ் இ.ஆ.ப. அவர்கள் சிறப்பு விருந்தினர் உரையாற்றினார் மற்றும் தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர். ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் துணைவேந்தர் முனைவர் கோ. சுகுமார் அவர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டு தலைமையேற்று உரையாற்றினார். தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக்கல்லூரி ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின் முதல்வர் முனைவர் ப. அகிலன் அவர்கள் இவ்விழாவை தொடக்க உரையாற்றி துவங்கி வைத்தார். இவ்விழாவில் பங்கேற்ற சென்னையிலுள்ள தொழில்முனைவோர் மேம்பாட்டு ஆணையத்தின் கூடுதல் இயக்குநர் திரு. ஆர். முத்துராமன் அவர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டு கடல்சார் உணவுப்பொருள் வணிக மைய திட்டத்திற்கான ஆறாவது தவணை நிதியினை வழங்கியதோடு புத்தாக்க வவுச்சர் திட்டத்திற்கான இரண்டாவது தவணை நிதியினையும் வழங்கியதோடு தொழில்முனைவோர் மேம்பாட்டு ஆணையத்தின் திட்டங்கள் குறித்து விளக்க உரையாற்றினார். இந்நிகழ்ச்சியின் நிறைவில் திட்ட ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் மற்றும் நிகழ்ச்சி தொகுப்பாளர் முனைவர் பா. கணேசன் உதவிப்பேராசிரியர் மற்றும் தலைவர் மீன்பதனதொழில் நுட்பத்துறை மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையம் தூத்துக்குடி அவர்கள் நன்றியுரையாற்றினார். இந்நிகழ்சியில் தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர். ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் உறுப்பு கல்லூரிகளைச் சார்ந்த முதல்வர்கள் தூத்துக்குடியின் பல்வேறு கல்லூரியின் பிரதிநிதிகள் தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக்கல்லூரி மற்றும் தூத்துக்குடி பாலிடெக்னிக் சேர்ந்த மாணவர்கள் மற்றும் கடல்சார் உணவுப்பொருள் மையத்தின் தொழில்முனைவோர் ஆகியோர் பங்கேற்றனர். இவ்விழாவின் நிறைவில் கடல்சார் உணவுப்பொருள் மையத்தின் தொழில்முனைவோர்களால் ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டிருந்த விற்பனையகங்கள் நிகழ்ச்சியில் கலந்து கொண்ட விருந்தினர்கள் மற்றும் பயனாளிகளால் பார்வையிடப்பட்டன. மேலும் அன்றைய நிகழ்வில் தொழில்முனைவோர் மேம்பாட்டு ஆணையத்தின் உதவி இயக்குநர் திரு. ஆர். முத்துராமன் அவர்களால் உயர் நிர்வாக கூட்டம் மற்றும் புத்தாக்க வவுச்சர் திட்டம் ஆகியன நடத்தப்பட்டன. இந்நிகழ்வில் கடல்சார் உணவுப்பொருள் மையத்தின் வாயிலாக வெற்றி பெற்ற தொழில்முனைவோர்கள் தங்களின் கருத்துக்களை பகிர்ந்து கொண்டனர்.
