SKILL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING PROGRAMME ON “SPROUTING ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN MARINE PRODUCTS”

Under the funding support of Entrepreneurs Development Innovation Institute (EDII), Chennai, the Marine Products Business Incubation Forum (MPBIF), which is being operated at the Department of Fish Processing Technology, Fisheries College and Research Institute, TNJFU, Thoothukudi, organized a two days skill development training programme on “Sprouting Entrepreneurship in Marine products” from 08.03.2023 to 09.03.2023. A total of 66 participants from Bishop Heber college, Trichy participated and benefited. Dr. P. Ganesan, Assistant Professor and Head i/c & Project Coordinator of EDII- MPBIF welcomed the gathering. In her presentation of greetings, Ms. Sheeba, Assistant Professor of Bishop Heber College, spoke about the encouragement given to college students by the EDII- MPBIF in the field of marine product entrepreneurship and how it encouraged them to become successful entrepreneurs. Dr. N.V. Sujathkumar, Professor and Head, DFEE&S, FCRI, Thoothukudi, presided over the inauguration ceremony. He provided information on the range of entrepreneurship as well as the strategies and traits that successful entrepreneurs should possess in the marine processing industry. The participants were exposed to technical sessions by experts after the opening ceremony and were also given visits of the facilities at EDII-MPBIF, DFPT, and FCRI, Thoothukudi. The participants received training on how to produce various value-added fish and seafood products, as well as their packaging and marketing. They have also been given awareness about the available schemes and loans that are offered by government agencies to establish start-ups. The valedictory function was conducted at the end of the second day on 9.03.2023 which was presided over by Dr. B. Ahilan, Dean, FCRI, Thoothukudi and given his input to the beneficiaries to turn into a successful entrepreneurs. He also spoke on the point that students should think bigger and work on a newer ideas towards new opportunities and start self-employment. He also added that beginners should learn from existing successful entrepreneurs and understand a gap in the field to become successful entrepreneurs with sustainable marketability. The participants registered their feedback on the conducted training programme. The certificates were given to the participants by the Dean. Dr. P. Ganesan, Assistant Professor and Head of i/c and Project Coordinator, DFPT, FCRI, Thoothukudi, who also coordinated the training programme, proposed the vote of thanks.

தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர். ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் ஓர் அங்கமான தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தில் 08.03.2023 முதல் 09.03.2023 வரை “கடல் உணவுப் பொருட்களில் தொழில் முனைதல்” என்ற இரண்டு நாள் தொழில்நுட்ப செயல் விளக்கப் பயிற்சியானது திருச்சியில் உள்ள ஃபிசப் ஹெபர் கல்லூரியைச் சேர்ந்த 66 மாணவ மாணவிகளுக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டது. இப்பயிற்சியானது சென்னையிலுள்ள தொழில்முனைவோர் மேம்பாட்டு ஆணையத்தின் நிதி உதவியிடன் தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக்கல்லூரியில் இயங்கி கொண்டிருக்கும் கடல்சார் உணவுப்பொருள் வணிக மையத்தின் வாயிலாக நடைபெற்றது. முனைவர் பா. கணேசன் உதவிப்பேராசிரியர் மற்றும் தலைவர் மீன்பதனதொழில் நுட்பத்துறை பயிற்சியாளர்களை வரவேற்றார். இந்நிகழ்ச்சியினை முனைவர் ந.வ. சுஜாத்குமார் முதல்வர் (பொ) மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையம் தூத்துக்குடி துவக்கி வைத்து இப்பயிற்சியின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை விளக்கினார். இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் ஃபிசப் ஹெபர் கல்லூரியின் உதவிப் பேராசிரியர்கள் திருமதி. ஹீபா மற்றும் திருமதி. புவனா ஆகியோர் பங்கேற்றனர். மீன் தொழில் முனைவோரின் பண்புகள் மற்றும் கடல் உணவுப்பொருள்களில் தொழில் முனைவோhருக்கான வாய்ப்புகள் மற்றும் அவை சார்ந்த தொழில் தொடங்குவதற்கான நிதிவழிகள் என்ற தலைப்புகளில் சிறப்பு வகுப்புகள் நடைபெற்றன. இப்பயிற்சியில் பயிற்சியாளர்களுக்கு கடற்பாசி சேர்த்த அடுமனை உணவுப்பொருட்கள் மீன்சேர்த்த ரொட்டி தோய்ந்த உணவுப்பொருட்கள் மற்றும் ஊறுகாய் தயாரிப்பு குறித்த செயல் விளக்கப் பயிற்சிகள் வழங்கப்பட்டது. இப்பயிற்சியின் நிறைவு விழாவில் மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின் முதல்வர் முனைவர் ப. அகிலன் தலைமை தாங்கி சிறப்பித்தார். மேலும் அவர் உரையாற்றுகையில் ஏற்கனவே இது போன்ற பயிற்சி பெற்ற பயனாளிகள் மீன்பதனம் மற்றும் அதன் சார்ந்த தொழிலில் தொழில்முனைவோர்களாக உருவாகி வளர்ந்து வருகிறார்கள் என்றும் கல்லூரியின் ஆலோசனைகளை பெற்று பயிற்சியாளர்கள் பயனைடயுமாறு அறிவுறுத்தினார். இப்பயிற்சியின் நிறைவு விழாவில் பங்குபெற்ற பயனாளிகள் பயிற்சி பற்றிய தங்களின் கருத்துக்களை பதிவு செய்தனர். பயிற்சியாளர்களுக்கு முனைவர் ப. அகிலன் முதல்வர் சான்றிதழ் வழங்கி சிறப்பித்தார். இப்பயிற்சியினை முனைவர் பா. கணேசன் உதவிப்பேராசிரியர் மற்றும் தலைவர் மீன்பதனதொழில் நுட்பத்துறை அவர்கள் ஒருங்கிணைத்தார்.
