Welcome Programme for Freshers (BFSc 2018-19 batch) held at Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi

The admission for B.F.Sc. programme for the academic year 2018-19 was completed in August 2018 and I B.F.Sc. programme commenced on 05.09.2018. As per the tradition of Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi, the immediate seniors, II B.F.Sc. students organized a grand welcome for the freshers on 01.10.2018 with the guidance of the Students’ Association of this institute. The programme aims at facilitating the freshers to socialize with the senior student and know the tradition and value of the institute thereby building confidence in the young minds and reveal their creativity and inbuilt talents. The I B.F.Sc. students were given the opportunity to exhibit their cultural talents on the occasion. Miss. C.RUBINI, II B.F.Sc welcomed the gatherings. Dr.S.Athithan, Vice-President of Students’ Association and Mr.P.Ganesan, I B.F.Sc Students Coordinator offered their felicitation address. Dr.G.Sugumar, Dean, Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi presided over the function and delivered the presidential address. In his presidential address, he explained the opportunities available to the students in the field of fisheries and urged every student to make use of the facilities of the institute to develop their personalities and career. Mr. M.Tamizh Maran II B.F.Sc. Student gave vote of thanks. All staff and students of the institute participated in the event. Dr.S.Athithan, Vice-President of Students’ Association Coordinated the fresher’s day event.

தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக்கல்லூரியில் முதலாம் ஆண்டு வரவேற்பு நிகழ்ச்சி நடைபெற்றது

தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தில் 2018-19ம் கல்வியாண்டிற்கான இளநிலை மீன்வளப் பட்டப்படிப்பிற்கான சேர்க்கை கடந்த ஆகஸ்ட் 2018 நடைபெற்றது. அதனைத் தொடர்ந்து முதலாம் ஆண்டு மாணவர்களுக்கு 05.09.2018 அன்று வகுப்புகள் ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்டன. இதனைத் தொடர்ந்து மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தில் நடைபெறும் கலாச்சாரமான இரண்டாம் ஆண்டு மீன்வள இளநிலை மாணவர்கள் முதலாம் ஆண்டு மாணவர்களை வரவேற்கும் நிகழ்ச்சி 01.10.2018 அன்று மாணவர் சங்கத்தின் சார்பாக நடைபெற்றது. இந்நிகழ்ச்சி முக்கிய நோக்கமானது கல்லூரியில் பயிலும் மூத்த மாணவர்களுடன் இணக்கமாக பழகவும் மற்றும் கல்லூரியின் கலாச்சாரங்களை அறிந்து இளம் மாணவர்களின் அறிவுத்திறமையை மேம்படுத்தவும் மற்றும் அவர்களின் தனித்திறமையை பறைசாற்றவும் முடியும். இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் முதலாம் ஆண்டு மாணவர்கள் தங்களின் திறமைகளை கலைநிகழ்ச்சி மூலமாக வெளிக்கொணரப்பட்டது. இரண்டாம் ஆண்டு மாணவி ரூயஅp;பினி வரவேற்புரை நிகழ்த்தினார். மாணவர் சங்கத்தின் துணைத்தலைவர் முனைவர் சா.ஆதித்தன் மற்றும் 2018-19ம் ஆண்டு மாணவர்களின் ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் திரு.ப.கணேசன் ஆகியோர்கள் வாழ்த்துரை வழங்கினார்கள். இக்கல்லூரியின் முதல்வர் முனைவர் கோ.சுகுமார் அவர்கள் தலைமையேற்று உரையாற்றினார். அவரது தலைமை உரையில் மீன்வளக் கல்வி பயிலுவதால் உள்ள வாய்ப்புகளை பற்றியும் மற்றும் மாணவர்கள் இக்கல்லூரியில் உள்ள வசதி வாய்ப்புகளைப் பயன்படுத்தி தங்களின் திறமைகள் மற்றும் எதிர்காலத்தை மேம்படுத்த வேண்டும் என்று அறிவுறுத்தினார். இரண்டாம் ஆண்டு மாணவர் தமிழ்மாறன் நன்றியுரை வழங்கினார். இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் இக்கல்லூரியின் அனைத்து ஆசிரியர் மற்றும் ஆசிரியரல்லாத அலுவலர்கள் மற்றும் மாணவர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டனர். மாணவர் சங்கத் துணைத் தலைவர் முனைவர் சா.ஆதித்தன் இதற்கான ஏற்பாடுகளை செய்து இருந்தார்.
