One Day Vocational Training on Coastal Aquaculture at Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi

The Department of Aquaculture functioning under the control of Fisheries College and Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Dr.J.Jayalalithaa Fisheries University offered one day vocational training programmes on Crab & Lobster Fattening, Seaweed Farming and Recirculatory Aquaculture Systems respectively on 03.10.2018, 04.10.2018 and 05.10.2018. A total of 05 trainees from Thoothukudi and Palakadu (Kerala) participated. During this programme, various aspects in lobster fattening, seaweed farming and recirculatory aquaculture systems along with demonstrations were taught to the participants. After this exposure, all the participants were taken to crab farm at Punnakayal, Mullakadu and Tharuvaikulam for gaining practical exposure on crab farm, monoline for seaweed farming and open sea lobster fattening unit at Tharuvaikulam. Dr.G.Sugumar, Dean distributed the certificates to the participants and spoke on the importance of these training programmes to motivate the coastal community to take up crab & lobster fattening, seaweed farming and recirculatory aquaculture systems to improve their income and financial status. The aim of these training programmes is to provide skill based training aquaculture systems which will pave way for self-employment of the trainees. தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக்கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தில் கடற்சார் மீன்வளர்ப்பு குறித்த தொழிற்கல்விப் பயிற்சி

தமிழ் நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ.ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வள பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் ஓர் அங்கமான தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின் மீன் வளர்ப்புத் துறையில் “களிநண்டு மற்றும் சிங்கி இறால் கொழுப்பேற்றல்” ரூபவ் “கடல்பாசி வளர்ப்பு” மற்றும் “மறுநீர் சுழற்சி முறையில் மீன்வளர்ப்பு” குறித்த தொழிற்கல்விப் பயிற்சி பற்றிய ஒரு நாள் பயிற்சி முறையே 03.10.2018 ரூபவ் 04.10.2018 மற்றும் 05.10.2018 ஆகிய நாட்களில் நடைபெற்றது. இதில் தூத்துக்குடி மற்றும் பாலக்காடு (கேரளா) பகுதியை சார்ந்த 05 பயனாளிகள் கலந்து கொண்டு பயன் பெற்றனர். இப்பயிற்சியில் களிநண்டு மற்றும் சிங்கி இறால் கொழுப்பேற்றல் ரூபவ் கடல்பாசி வளர்ப்பு மற்றும் மறுநீர் சுழற்சி முறையில் மீன்வளர்ப்பு தொழில்நுட்பம் குறித்த விளக்கப்பாடங்களும் ரூபவ் செயல் விளக்கங்களும் அளிக்கப்பட்டது. இப்பயிற்சியின் நிறைவு விழாவில் மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின் முதல்வர் முனைவர் கோ.சுகுமார் அவர்கள் பயிற்சியில் கலந்து கொண்ட பயனாளிகளுக்கு சான்றிதழ்கள் வழங்கினார். மேலும் தனது உரையில் இப்பயிற்சியின் முக்கியத்துவம் குறித்தும் ரூபவ் பொருளாதாரத்தில் நலிந்த கடலோர மீனவ சமுதாயத்திற்கு இப்பயிற்சியால் ஏற்படும் மாற்று தொழில்கள் மூலம் வாழ்வாதாரத்தை உயர்த்த முடியும் என்று எடுத்துரைத்தார். இப்பயிற்சியின் மூலம் மீனவ சமுதாயம் ரூபவ் சுயதொழில் தொடங்குவதற்கான வழிவகைகள் குறித்தும் விரிவாக எடுத்துக்கூறினார். முனைவர் சா.ஆதித்தன்ரூபவ் பேராசிரியர் மற்றும் தலைவர் ரூபவ் மீன் வளர்ப்புத்துறை அவர்கள் இப்பயிற்சியை ஒருங்கிணைத்து நடத்தினார்.
