Two Days Workshop on “Statistical modeling using R-Studio and AMOS Software”

The Department of Fisheries Extension, Economics and Statistics of Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi has organised a two days workshop on “Statistical modelling using R-studio and AMOS software” on 19th and 20th March, 2024. The aim of the workshop is to provide a base knowledge to the faculty, PG and Ph.D. scholars on data analysis using SPSS, R-Studio and AMOS. Dr. B.Ahilan, Dean, FC&RI, Thoothukudi presided the event and highlighted the importance of the softwares used for fisheries statistical data analysis and the publications of the research articles in the peer reviewed journal. Dr. B. Manikandan, Mrs. V. Gomathy, Assistant Professors (C), Dr. Santhanakumar Assistant Librarian (C) of Department of Fisheries Extension, Economics and Statistics, FC&RI, Thoothukudi had taken theory and practical classes in the Workshop. Hands on sessions on various aspects of statistical analysis in both Parametric and Non-parametric tests with the biological research data sets were provided. A total of 47 participants from FC&RI, Thoothukudi, College of Fisheries Engineering, Nagapattinam, Business School, TNJFU, Muttukadu and M. S. University, Tirunelveli attended the workshop and got benefitted. Certificates were distributed to the participants by the Dean, FC&RI, Thoothukudi during the valedictory program. Dr. B. Manikandan, Assistant Professor and Organizing Secretary, proposed the vote of thanks. Dr. N. V. Sujathkumar, Professor & Head, DFEES coordinated the workshop.

தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக்கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தில் “ஆர்-ஸ்டுடியோ மற்றும் அமாஸ் மென்பொருளைப் பயன்படுத்தி தரவு பகுப்பாய்வு” என்ற இரண்டு நாள் பணிபட்டறை பயிற்சி நடத்தப்பட்டது

தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனத்தின் மீன்வள விரிவாக்கம் பொருளாதாரம் மற்றும் புள்ளியியல் துறையில் 19 மற்றும் 20 மார்ச் 2024 வரை “ஆர்-ஸ்டுடியோ மற்றும் அமாஸ் மென்பொருளைப் பயன்படுத்தி தரவு பகுப்பாய்வு” என்ற தலைப்பில் இரண்டு நாள் பணிபட்டறை நடத்தப்பட்டது. பட்டறையின் நோக்கம் ஆசிரியர்கள் மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி மாணவர்களுக்கு அடிப்படை புள்ளியியல் பகுப்பாய்வு அறிவை வழங்குவதாகும். ஆர்-ஸ்டுடியோ மற்றும் அமாஸ் மென்பொருளைப் பயன்படுத்தி தரவு பகுப்பாய்வை பற்றிய பயிற்சி வழங்கப்பட்டது. தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின் முதல்வர் முனைவர் ப.அகிலன் நிகழ்ச்சியைத் தொடங்கி வைத்து பயிலரங்கின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை எடுத்துரைத்தார். இந்த இரண்டு நாள் பயிலரங்கில் தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின் மீன்வளவிரிவாக்கம் பொருளாதாரம் மற்றும் புள்ளியியல் துறை உதவிப் பேராசிரியர்கள் முனைவர் பூ.மணிகண்டன் திருமதி வெ.கோமதி மற்றும் இ.சந்தனக்குமார் ஆகியோர் பயிற்சி வகுப்புகளை எடுத்தனர். மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையம் தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வள பொறியியல் கல்லூரி நாகப்பட்டினம் மற்றும் எம்.எஸ். பல்கலைக்கழகம் போன்ற கல்லூரிகளிருந்து மொத்தம் 47 பங்கேற்பாளர்கள் பயிற்சியில் கலந்துகொண்டு பயனடைந்தனர். தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின் முதல்வர் நிறைவு விழா நிகழ்ச்சியின்போது பங்கேற்பாளர்களுக்கு சான்றிதழ்கள் வழங்கினார். மீன்வள விரிவாக்கம் பொருளாதாரம் மற்றும் புள்ளியியல் துறையின் உதவிப் பேராசிரியரும் அமைப்புச் செயலாளருமான முனைவர் பூ.மணிகண்டன் நன்றியுரை வழங்கினார். மீன்வள விரிவாக்கம் பொருளாதாரம் மற்றும் புள்ளியியல் துறையின் பேராசிரியர் மற்றும் தலைவர் முனைவர் ந.வ.சுஜாத்குமார் பயிற்சி பட்டறையை ஒருங்கிணைத்தார்.
