Student of Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi Won “Runners Title” in The SHOAL 2018 at Mangaluru

As a part of celebrating glorious fifty years (1969-2019), College of Fisheries, Mangaluru organized the First All India Fisheries Colleges Students Cultural & Sports Meet, “The SHOAL 2018” between 14.12.2018 & 15.12.2018. A total of 8 fisheries colleges from all over India participated in the two day cultural and sports meet held for the first time at College of Fishereis, Mangaluru. Competitions were held among the participants testing the cultural and sports powers of the students. The students of this Institute actively participated in the cultural events including Light Vocal Solo / Gazal (Non Film Songs), Group Singing, Extempore, Debate, Quiz, Rangoli, Clay Modeling, Group Dance – Folk, Mime, Collage, Chart Painting and Cartoon Drawing. Apart from these cultural events, students actively took part in sports event such as swimming, badminiton shuttle, table tennis and Chess. FC&RI won “Runners up” position and bringing laurels to this institute. Dr.S.Athithan, Vice-President of Students’ Association served as Team Manager and took 28 students to this event for active participation. The performance of all participants from Fisheries College and Research Institute were appreciated by the Dean, Dr.G.Sugumar and Vice-President of Student’s Association Dr.S.Athithan.

தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலைய மாணவர்கள்  “THE SHOAL 2018”  இரண்டாமிடம் பிடித்தனர்

மங்களுரு மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி நடத்திய அகில இந்திய மீன்வளக் கல்லூரிகளுக்கிடையேயான கலை மற்றும் விளையாட்டு போட்டிகள் “THE SHOAL 2018” 14 / 12 / 2018 மற்றும் 15 / 12 /2018 ஆகிய நாட்களில் நடைபெற்றது. இப்போட்டிகளில் இந்தியாவை சேர்ந்த 8 மீன்வளக் கல்லூரிகள் கலந்து கொண்டன. மாணவர்களின் திறமைகளை வெளிக்கொணர்வதே இக்கலை மற்றும் விளையாட்டு போட்டிகளின் முக்கிய நோக்கம் ஆகும். தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலைய மாணவர்கள் கலை போட்டிகளான கசல் குழுப்பாடல், ரங்கோலி, குழு நடனம் (கிராமியம்), அவிநயக்கூத்து (மைம்), எக்ஸ்டம்போர் விவாதம் (டிபேட்), வினாடி வினா விளக்கப்படம் வரைதல், கார்டூன் வரைதல் மற்றும் கொல்லாஜ் ஆகிய போட்டிகளில் கலந்து கொண்டனர். கலைபோட்டிகள் மட்டுமல்லாமல்  விளையாட்டு போட்டிகளான நீச்சல் போட்டி, பூப்பந்து போட்டி, டேபிள் டென்னிஸ் மற்றும் சதுரங்க போட்டிகளிலும் பங்கு பெற்றனர். இதில் தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலைய மாணவர்கள் இரண்டாமிடத்தை பிடித்து இக்கல்லூரிக்கு பெருமை சேர்த்தனர். மாணவர் சங்கத்தின் துணைத்தலைவர் முனைவர் சா.ஆதித்தன் அவர்கள் குழு தலைவராக செயலாற்றினார். தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின் முதல்வர் முனைவர் கோ.சுகுமார் அவர்கள் மற்றும் மாணவர் சங்கத்தின் துணைத்தலைவர் முனைவர் சா.ஆதித்தன் ஆகியோர் பங்கு பெற்ற மாணவ-மாணவியரை வெகுவாக பாராட்டினார்கள்.
