Vice-Chancellor of TNJFU Dr. S. Felix on his visit to Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Fisheries
College and Research Institute, Ponneri coordinated and conducted the Viva-Voce of
Ph. D students (2016-19 Batch) held at the conference hall today (11.06.18). Dr.
Akshaya Panigrahi, Principal Scientist & Head, Crustacean Culture Division, CIBA and
Dr. M. Kailasam, Principal Scientist, Finfish Culture Division, CIBA were present as an
external expert along with the Vice-Chancellor to evaluate the research works of the
students. Both the external experts and the Vice-Chancellor inquired questions on the
research topics taken up by the scholars and also gave feedbacks for improving the
quality of the research works. On the same day, comprehensive exam was also
conducted for the Scholars.
