Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University (TNJFU), Nagapattinam is conducting the undergraduate admission for the academic year 2025-26 through counseling for various undergraduate fisheries degree programs offered by the various constituent colleges and affiliated private college of TNJFU. The rank list was released by Dr. N. Felix, Vice-Chancellor, Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University on 18.07.2025.
The Vice-Chancellor stated that a total of 434 seats are to be filled through counseling for the 10 constituent colleges and 1 affiliated private college of the university which includes of 156 seats in fisheries science, 30 seats in fisheries engineering, 40 seats each in fisheries biotechnology and food technology, 20 seats in BBA and 75 seats in B.Voc. Apart from these seats, 24 seats in fisheries science and 1 seat in fisheries engineering will be filled by the candidates hailing from fishermen family. Admission applications for various degree programmes offered by the University were received from 2nd June to 27th June, 2025. A total of 14,938 applications were received, of which 56% were female candidates (8,345) and 44% male candidates (6,593). Of the total applications, 6,348 were for Fisheries Science, 1,574 for Fisheries Engineering, 1,410 for Biotechnology, 1,100 for Food Technology, 1,024 for BBA, and 3,482 for B.Voc.
In the merit list, Mr. A. Porko secured the top rank with 200 out of 200 marks, followed by Ms. G. Branika and Mr. K. Santhosh with 198.5 marks securing 2nd and 3rd ranks respectively, while Ms. R. Madhavi, Ms. J.P. Jayasri, Ms. M. Mahalakshmi, and Ms. S. Iniya scored 198 marks and secured the 4th to 7th ranks respectively. Under the special categories, applications were received as follows: 7.5% Government School student’s quota (1,147), Ex-servicemen quota (27), 5% reservation under Differently Abled (17), Eminent sports person category (116), 5% and 15% reservation under the wards of fishermen (228) and 5% reservation for vocational students (88).
Further, he informed that any discrepancies in the aggregate or percentage marks mentioned in the rank list should be reported by the applicants by submitting their grievances via the official email: admissionug@tnfu.ac.in on or before 21.07.2025 at 5.00 PM. He also said that the in person counseling for the admission of these courses under the special category and supernumerary seats will be taken up initially, followed by the general counseling which will be held through online at Tamil Nadu Dr.J.Jayalalithaa Fisheries University (TNJFU), Nagapattinam at end of July 2025.

நாகப்பட்டினம், தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் கீழ் செயல்பட்டு வரும் கல்லூரிகளில் பல்வேறு இளநிலை மீன்வளப் பட்டப்படிப்புகளுக்கு 2025-26 கல்வியாண்டின் மாணவர் சேர்க்கைக்கான கலந்தாய்வு நடைபெற உள்ளது. மாணவர் சேர்க்கைக் கலந்தாய்விற்கான தரவரிசைப் பட்டியல் 18.07.2025 அன்று பல்கலைக்கழகத் துணைவேந்தர் முனைவர் நா. ஃபெலிக்ஸ் அவர்களால் வெளியிடப்பட்டது.
இதுகுறித்து பல்கலைக்கழகத் துணைவேந்தர் கூறுகையில், பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் கீழ் இயங்கிவரும் 10 உறுப்பு கல்லூரிகள் மற்றும் 1 இணைப்புத் தனியார் கல்லூரிக்காக மொத்தமாக 434 இடங்கள் கலந்தாய்வின் மூலம் நிரப்பப்பட உள்ளன. இதில், மீன்வள அறிவியலுக்காக 156 இடங்கள், மீன்வளப் பொறியியலுக்காக 30 இடங்கள், மீன்வள உயிர் தொழில்நுட்பம் மற்றும் உணவுத் தொழில்நுட்பப் படிப்புகளுக்கு தலா 40 இடங்கள், இளநிலை வணிக நிர்வாகவியல் படிப்பிற்கு 20 இடங்கள் மற்றும் இளநிலை தொழிற்கல்வி (B.Voc.) படிப்புகளுக்கு 75 இடங்கள் உள்ளன.
மேலும், மீனவர் சமுதாய மாணவர்களுக்கென மீன்வள அறிவியல் படிப்பிற்கு 24 இடங்கள் மற்றும் மீன்வளப் பொறியியலில் 1 இடம் ஒதுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இப்படிப்புகளுக்கான சேர்க்கை விண்ணப்பங்கள் 2025 ஜூன் 2 முதல் ஜூன் 27 வரை பெறப்பட்டன. மொத்தமாக 14,938 விண்ணப்பங்கள் பெறப்பட்டதில் 56% மாணவிகளும் (8,345 பேர்), 44% மாணவர்களும் (6,593 பேர்) விண்ணப்பித்துள்ளனர். இவற்றில் 6,348 விண்ணப்பங்கள் மீன்வள அறிவியல் படிப்பிற்கும், 1,574 விண்ணப்பங்கள் மீன்வளப் பொறியியல் படிப்பிற்கும், 1,410 விண்ணப்பங்கள் உயிர்தொழில்நுட்பப் படிப்பிற்கும், 1,100 விண்ணப்பங்கள் உணவுத் தொழில்நுட்பப் படிப்பிற்கும், 1,024 விண்ணப்பங்கள் இளநிலை வணிக நிர்வாகவியல் படிப்பிற்கும், 3,482 விண்ணப்பங்கள் இளநிலை தொழிற்கல்வி படிப்புகளுக்கும் பெறப்பட்டுள்ளன.
மேலும் அவர் கூறுகையில், தரவரிசைப் பட்டியலில், திரு. ஏ. பொற்கோ 200க்கு 200 மதிப்பெண்கள் பெற்று முதலிடம் பெற்றுள்ளார். அவரைத் தொடர்ந்து செல்வி. ஜி. பிரனிகா மற்றும் திரு. கே. சந்தோஷ் ஆகியோர் தலா 198.5 மதிப்பெண்கள் பெற்று இரண்டாம் மற்றும் மூன்றாம் இடங்களைப் பெற்றுள்ளனர். செல்வி. ஆர். மாதவி, செல்வி. ஜே.பி. ஜெயஸ்ரீ, செல்வி. எம். மகாலட்சுமி மற்றும் செல்வி. எஸ். இனியா ஆகியோர் முறையே தலா 198 மதிப்பெண்கள் பெற்று நான்காவது முதல் ஏழாவது இடம் வரை பெற்றுள்ளனர் என்றும், சிறப்புப் பிரிவில், 7.5% அரசு பள்ளி மாணவர்களுக்கான இட ஒதுக்கீட்டிற்கு 1,147 விண்ணப்பங்களும், முன்னாள் இராணுவ வீரர்களின் குழந்தைகளுக்கான இட ஒதுக்கீட்டிற்கு 27 விண்ணப்பங்களும், 5% மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகளின் இட ஒதுக்கீட்டிற்கு 17 விண்ணப்பங்களும், விளையாட்டு வீரர்களுக்கான இட ஒதுக்கீட்டிற்கு 116 விண்ணப்பங்களும், மீனவ சமுதாய மாணவர்களுக்கான 5% மற்றும் 15% ஒதுக்கீட்டில் 228 விண்ணப்பங்களும், தொழில்முறைப் பாடப்பிரிவில் 5% இட ஒதுக்கீட்டில் 88 விண்ணப்பங்களும் பெறப்பட்டுள்ளன எனத் தெரிவித்தார். தரவரிசைப் பட்டியலில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ள மொத்த மதிப்பெண் அல்லது சதவீத மதிப்பெண்களில் ஏதேனும் பிழைகள் இருப்பின், விண்ணப்பதாரர்கள் தங்களுக்கான குறைகளை 21.07.2025 அன்று மாலை 5.00 மணிக்குள் admissionug@tnfu.ac.in என்ற அதிகாரப்பூர்வ மின்னஞ்சல் முகவரிக்கு அனுப்பி வைக்குமாறு கேட்டுக்கொண்டார். மேலும், முதலில் சிறப்பு மற்றும் கூடுதல் இட ஒதுக்கீடுகளுக்கு நேரடிக் கலந்தாய்வு நாகப்பட்டினத்தில் உள்ள பல்கலைக்கழக வளாகத்தில் நடத்தப்படும் என்றும், அதற்குப் பின்பு, பொதுக் கலந்தாய்வு இணைய வழியாக 2025 ஜூலை மாத இறுதியில் தொடங்கும் என்றும் அவர் கூறினார்.
