The “Thirteenth Scientific Advisory Committee Meeting” of the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sikkal, Nagapattinam, was conducted on 17.02.2026 at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Nagapattinam. The meeting was presided over by Dr. N. Felix, Vice- Chancellor of Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University & Chairman of the SAC Committee. The Vice-Chancellor distributed poultry units (birds along with cages) and teak saplings to Scheduled Caste Sub-Plan beneficiaries. Earlier, Dr. V. Senthilkumar, Programme Coordinator of the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, delivered the welcome address. He explained the action taken on the recommendations of the 12th Scientific Advisory Committee and elaborated on the activities and achievements for the year 2025–26.

Kala, also participated and provided their valuable suggestions. The technical experts and technical officers of the Krishi Vigyan Kendra participated and made the programme a success.
