Vice-Chancellor of Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University Dr. S. Felix held a substantive talk with Charles C. Li, Director-General, Taipei Economic and Cultural Center today in his office at Chennai on 07.04.18. During his formal talk with the Charles, Vice-Chancellor’s focus was mainly on the bilateral ties between India and Taiwan in the areas of Education, Research and Trade in Fisheries and possible pacts which could bring mutual benefit in improving the fisheries education and fish production of both the countries. Both leaders encouraged greater efforts for cooperation in fisheries sector. World Aquaculture Society’s Asia Pacific Aquaculture’18 International Conference would be hosted by Taiwan this month on April 23rd – 26th for which our Vice-Chancellor is a current President Elect.
