As a part of rehabilitating the rural livelihood of Vedaranyam block women farmer (which was affected by Cyclone Gaja), we are planning to conduct 05 batches of Capacity building programs on Livestock farming (Dairy/Goattery/Poultry/Fisheries) to SHG women of Vedaranyam block from 02 December – 02 December 2019. The programs would be conducted at 05 identified villages covering 30 women per program from nearby hamlets/village and would be co-ordinated by Valanadu Sustainable Agriculture Producer Company Limited. Each program would be conducted for 07 days. After which, trainees would be facilitated for credit & market linkages. Further, follow up trainings (for 02 days) & exposure visit (to KVK as well as model farms) are also planned for the beneficiaries who would be undertaking the activity.
